It is very simple to make this slow cooker ham with glaze, and the end result is a juicy, tasty ham that is great for any event. When you mix brown sugar, maple syrup, and spices together, you get a tasty glaze that caramelizes beautifully on the ham as it cooks.
Ingredients: 1 ham 6-8 pounds. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon ground cloves.
Instructions: Put the ham in the crock pot. Spices like cloves, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, and maple syrup should all be mixed together in a bowl. Make sure the glaze covers the ham all the way through. Turn the heat down to low and cover the pot. Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the ham is soft and the internal temperature reaches 140F 60C. To keep the ham moist and tasty, baste it with the glaze from the bottom of the slow cooker about once an hour.
