Questions for anyone keeping up with tattoos!

How did you like the way I wrote the scene of Tyson telling Kai his backstory/story of Brooklyn?

I struggled with the idea of having it all third person as a separate "story" but ultimately decided on the mix of first person narration and 3rd person dialogue to try to mimic Tyson "reliving " the memories. It seemed to save time and give off the "telling the story" effect I wanted.

I'm asking because I'm now on a chapter where Tala is telling a story from the past, and I'm wondering if I should write it the same way, or do something different. I don't want it to be "more of the same" but also want it easy to read?

I don't have an exact chapter lineup as much as plotpoints! But I can tell you were getting pretty close! Depending on how I pace these chapters, I'm guessing like 20 or so more?

I don't want to make it too long... but it is... a long novel lol.

Were currently at 143,109 words! And I'm going to start on chapter 53 soon! :)

There's a part of me that feels bad for making it so long, I'm not sure why 🥲
