My ideal scenario for TattooArun in the upcoming special episode of Jack and Joker is basically that Tattoo and Arun just continue acting like they’re married and have been so for a long time and then act fully surprised when people are like “Wait, are you dating?” That they’re like “WHAT DO YOU MEAN OF COURSE WE ARE”

This was the most married moment outside Hope’s giggly delight over Save’s awkward first speech as the new boss. Arun made sure his man had a flashy signature look for his tranquilizer spray, and Tattoo’s little smile at the end shows how cute he finds that to be.

jack and joker final ep thoughts.

overall, i loved this show. it had humour, it had action. it was camp and ridiculous and romantic. it had slow burn and amazing characters and wonderful acting and chemistry.

was it perfect? did it always make sense? no. but i enjoyed it a lot.

i will say that i am very torn about the unclarity of tattoo and arun. like i get that there were a lot of character and they can't spend as much time on all of them but we could have gotten just a little bit more confirmation about their relationship towards the end of the show. it could have been just? a hint of them continuing to live together? they could have held hand? they don't need to fuck nasty as much as i would not have been opposed to that... but it made no sense to make a gay couple unspoken as if it's an 1990's family show. on the other hand, i personally tend to be more drawn to characters that don't give me exactly what i want onscreen, haha. because there's more room to make up stuff about them. so maybe part of why i'm so obsessed with them is how i'm just getting crumbs from canon.

with this show, i am fully sold on yinwar as actors, and i guess as people. they did amazing. i'm not sure what more to say about that.

i loved grandma. it was so weird to me how it was just kind of glossed over when she was still holding a bit of a grudge against hope. hope made her life hell? not by choice but still?

also. hope and save. my fucked up little guys. don't tell me they went all good on me at last. i can accept them as morally neutral characters but it'd be so boring if they're good. i realised that one of the things that make hope so frightening is probably that his actor, peerawich ploynumpol, is honestly very good at making violence look real? he looks like he is both hitting people for real and getting hit for real, and with force. it's scary. i love it.

okay i need to go to bed now but to sum this up. i am happy to have watched this show but i am actually disappointed about tattoo and arun.

I am very much not in denial, Aran and Tattoo are canon (to me) and even if they haven't gotten all that many scenes together in the last episode, I'll create more myself (aka I'll be writing about them some more) I'm working on two fics that are parts of fic fests (and they are due at the end of the year) so I don't know how fast I'll be in terms of turning all these ideas into actual ideas though I'll try to write at least a story or two (for now) ^^

more canon compliant omegaverse (aka omega!Aran and alpha!Tattoo)

Hoy's attempt to get Aran and Tattoo together (while they are already dating and having the time of their lives watching Hoy trying again and again to play cupid)

whump aka Aran needing someone to sleep next to him or to be right by his side while he sleeps after the events of the last episode (more so than ever) and he tries to be sneaky about it but he ends up taking long naps at the hospital right by Tattoo's bedside because there, he feels as if his nightmares cannot get to him

Aran having a chat with everyone's local badass grandma (maybe omegaverse au as well, aka a chat between the leading omega of her very own ragtag pack and her newly adopted omega grandson, next to mostly alphas and a few betas)

teachers au: Aran is the art teacher while Tattoo is the science teacher at a high school (Toi Ting is obviously a student there while Jack and Joke are her dads). the entire school knows these two teachers cannot stand each other (and they really cannot stand each other, there is no secret relationship twist here) but they have to work together for a theatre project or something similar (because of Aran's keen eye for fashion and designs and because of Tattoo's craftsmanship) already posted fics (AUs are tagged as such)

Aran and Tattoo are living together, both of them have feelings about it (as well as feelings for each other) ; rating: M, words: 3k
