Tawnyfeather pmv concept designs, attempt two ! Wasn't too happy with how the last ones came out rip.

They have a unicorn/princess and tiger/dragon theme which I think is pretty cute and fitting of their characters in the medieval au (or at least, from Tawnypelt's pov). Tawny's outfit might be tweaked tho.

My favourite rarepairs in warriors

Reasons:

Jay x fallen is doomed and I liked the early scenes w Jayfeather and fallenleaves more than hollyleaf and fallenleaves.

Breeze x hare is just silly to me, plus they were both dark forest trainees.

Tree x alder because I think it'd be nice plus I like how strange and calm tree is in contrast to alderheart.

Fire x silver is because silverstream deserves better than graystripe/hj

Tawny x feather mostly because they're journey cats but also because I think they work well w each other (plus both are crowfeather love interests lol)

Leaf x hawk has the vibes of an early 2000's good girl x Badboy trope which is funny to me

I haven't really thought about tawnyfeather much before I saw your tier list 👀

I don't think tawnypelt could replace crowfeather as she is definitely more popular within her clan than crowfeather is, which I think is one of the things that made crowfeather be attracted to the first person that was nice to him LOL, so tawnyfeather would have their own dynamic/angst.

So, what made you rank them so high, and how would their drama be if they were canon in tnp in your opinion? (It doesn't have to be canon-compliant!)

I think TawnyFeather's appeal is somewhat similar to the appeal of StormBramble or StormHawk to me, in that it's pairing a child of Tigerstar with one of the cats who Tigerstar attempted to execute.

I see TawnyFeather as having a bit more of an edge though, given that Feathertail is more clearly resentful over the TigerClan situation than Stormfur is, and Tawnypelt purposefully went to join ShadowClan/TigerClan to be with Tigerstar. Granted, though, in the canon timeline, Tawnypaw literally left ThunderClan the exact same day Featherpaw, Stormpaw, and Mistyfoot were rescued from TigerClan. Like I'm pretty sure she leaves during the time Firestar is gone on that rescue operation. (So Tawnypelt really can't be held culpable in any way for the TigerClan situation because she realistically may have no idea about what had just happened when she first joined ShadowClan. Also because I'm pretty sure Tawnypaw heads to the ShadowClan camp, while all the TigerClan stuff was happening in the RiverClan camp.)

Does that mean that Feathertail still wouldn't hold it against Tawnypelt? It's possible that she might. I could see there being a lot of friction between the two of them when their patrol first sets out on their journey-- Feathertail maybe treating Tawnypelt with a coldness that she doesn't show to any other cat in their group, and Tawnypelt picking up on it and bluntly asking Feathertail what's her problem with her.

Of course they'd eventually bond, though, as they are forced to spend time together and help/save each other as they encounter perils on their journey. Then once they'd reached Midnight, they've become friends, with some romantic feelings blossoming...

But I could see there being a strong sense of: "this will never work" between them. I mean, they've gotten over their personal differences, but Tawnypelt joined ShadowClan to be a loyal ShadowClan warrior, and she's set on that. And although Feathertail doesn't love RiverClan, she's definitely not joining the Clan led by Blackstar. So I think there would just be a lot of sad pining and longing for things to be different... and then Feathertail dies :(
