Bebe Buell in the 1973 experimental avant-garde short film "La Dolce Vita Grance", playing the role of Rita Hayroth, directed by Anton Perich. Part 6 (last).

Taylor Mead plays Carlo, a famous Italian film producer, and Cyrinda Foxe plays his wife Sophia, a famous Italian movie star. Sophia, who has fired his driver Ninno, has to re-hire the driver in order to keep Carlo sexually excited so he can impregnate Sophia.

Other people starring were Jean Pierre Kalfon, Donna Jordan, Oliveriro Toscani, Octavio Escali and Guy Heron.

Lacking a photo of Ron Rice by Allen for our underground filmmaker parade, we’ll include Taylor Mead in his stead who’s the main role in his first film, “The Flower Thief,” (1960) ’pre-Andy’ as Mead put it.   A first for both, Taylor went on to appear in ‘in a hundred and some’  films, while Rice made just four more before he passed away in Acapulco in 1964.  Taylor pictured here April 1986, snapped by Allen.
