In case you haven’t given To Be a Protector a gander: TBaP is an LBGT+-friendly mythological webcomic that takes place in an archipelago overseen by gods who represent and regulate the elements. When these protector's reign comes to a close every 500 years, new heirs must be chosen through election via popular vote. Following the story of Grylo Paton, a young man with a muddled past, he somehow experiences traits of godhood despite never having ran for the title.

Today’s Webcomic Recommendation: To Be a Protector by @avafaidian! 

Every 500 years, the gods who represent and guard various elements (in the form of an “orb”) must step down. When this happens, new protectors are chosen by popular vote.  

But oddly, a young man with a muddled past named Grylo Paton is experiencing traits of godhood despite never having ran for such a status...

@to-be-a-protector is a hilarious story with a totally unique art style to compliment the colorful setting. Definitely check this one out!
