CASUAL TDATH UPDATE!! Mordred probably seeing his little cousin/foster sister doing something and he's all "Whatcha doing?" And she goes "planning something for someone" "good or bad" "good for me" "against?" "Lancelot, maybe" *Mordred pulls up a chair* "I'm listening"
Mordred seems like such a good brother in TDATH and I love it. My crops are watered, my grade are up, my happiness levels are max.

WIP INTRODUCTION
The Dragon and the Herald by J. A. García and A. M. Wright ©
Genre: Arthurian Retelling, high fantasy
Elements: Magic, fae, war, LGBTQA+ and POC characters
Status: Editing
Summary:
The legend always said that the dragon would bring peace. That had been a lie. It was obvious to those in the borderlands, for they had to deal with the countless raids, the death, the stealing of sons and daughters by the White Lady. No one had ever seen her but every mother spoke in hushed tones to their swaddling children, not to speak out, not to draw any attention to themselves lest they be caught in the witch's icy grip.
A band of rogue warriors and unlikely heroes join the fray to stop the White Lady from unleashing her full power, unaware that soon their fates will be entwined and set in the big scheme of pulling Britain out of a darkness that will go beyond legend.

June 19, 2020
Pages so far: 84
Words (as of right now): 33, 084
Notes: we took a good chunk out and saved it for book 2, but with all the snippets that we'll be adding so far, I think it's safe to say it'll get to 35,000 or maybe even past that. And considering we gathered a lot of snippets in 4 years of writing this story (snippets that work for the plot or that fix a plot point), it's...a lot, but it all fits well and works within the plot.
Thoughts: We're still in a shock to say "We're editing". It's something that never crossed our minds when we first started this, and it's something that very much brings joy to my writing partner and I.

Howdy, I painted something and now I'm sad.
This is Mouse (aka the Apprentice) before and after joining the war band with Tristan and the knights on the quest to save the kingdom.
I guess looking at it...It's kind of sad?? I mean, she'll smile again, it'll take some time, but she will. (Also, idk if her scars are showing well??)
Anyone can like and reblog my art but PLEASE DO NOT STEAL!
