Can I just say the last chapter was great? Because it was! I love that Adora is forgetful of exactly how scary and intimidating she can be when she wants to be, but I'm glad Catra doesn't stand down and meets her head on. That's a lot of trust in Adora's intentions to let her that close when she can do so much damage. The small gestures for each other also get me. Ugh, it's such a treat when you update, thank you 💜

It’s interesting because I see Adora and Catra both as Type A personalities, so they’re always trying to one up the other. Have either of them ever backed down from a dare or challenge? Absolutely not.

Plus Catra’s not the type to give in or admit fear; she faces it head on.

We know adora liked having catra pressed on her, but what did catra think when her butt was so close to adora?

She was actually pretty busy eavesdropping on the Lieutenant. It wasn’t actually until after they were out of the closet and she saw Adora’s bright red face that she realized. 

 After that you can picture the slow curl of a smile a la the Grinch Who Stole Christmas (The animated Chuck Jones one).  At first it was just supposed to be teasing but the more she thought about it the more she remembers a slow surge of satisfaction. It caught her by surprise, though it shouldn’t have. It was a physical act; of course she would have a physical reaction. Let’s face it. Adora’s hot. Would Catra have sex with her? Hypothetically speaking, hell yeah. Realistically? Adora seems like a disaster in bed. Nervous and unsure of herself. She blushes like a virgin every time Catra makes even the slightest innuendo… which is kind of why she does it to be honest. It’s so damn easy to get a reaction out of her. So, sure. She enjoyed having her ass pressed up against Adora. There are a great many things about Adora’s body that she enjoys. It’s the rest of Adora that’s the problem.Read the Devil Is In

Yes it has a happy ending! I am, how do you say, a sucker for soft sappy endings. A…hopeless romantic, if u will. Warnings…the tags are relatively comprehensive. Mostly related to anxiety, PTSD, depression, self worth issues…eventually there will also be some explicit smut. In TDII before they realize they're into each other, what's Catra and Adora's favorite things about the other?

Catra’s favorite thing is how flustered Adora gets whenever she flirts with her. The fact that Adora’s absolutely smoking doesn’t hurt, either. Figuratively speaking. Wait she gives off a little smoke when she transforms into She-Ra, doesn’t she? Catra’s into it. The literal and figurative smoke.

Adora… Well Catra’s hot but that’s not her favorite thing. Don’t put that down. Actually she didn’t even say that. She likes….how unexpectedly political Catra is. How she can maneuver her way out of a dangerous situation without landing a single blow.  And she likes how much fun she is. It’s stupid and kind of embarrassing to admit it but in the last couple of years she’s sort of…forgotten, what fun’s supposed to be like? Adora actually kinda…feels bad that she has to put her in prison. Psych! People like Catra belong behind bars (...right?)
