I thought: “If Allhaven Hill is where the Summit of the Pentarchy is held, and it’s in Duren, why was Aanya the late one?”

And now I like to think she was arguing with Grark (her brother) about going on her own. Because she’s dealt with so many coups and conspiracies, he’s paranoid something will happen to her. In the end, she went: “Brother, my regent’s out of a job, I’m the queen now.”

And he was like: “Awh, shucks. Be safe, I guess. Roast some asses, idk.”

The former Queens of Duren, Neha and Annika both died in the attempt to bring home the heart of a titan to save their kingdom from a famine. Their kingdom honors their memories and sacrifice.

The biological daughter of Neha and Annika, Aanya is the current Queen of Duren leading her Kingdom with a steady mind.

Mentioned only once, Grark is the older adopted brother of Queen Aanya, both a warrior and a prince.

Vinaya is a wise and curious noblewoman in possession of the Chronicles of Elarion. She is currently traveling with Winda and Diyan at her side.

The people of Duren think he’s a closed off, emo, cold kinda guy but is legit the opposite, like he is the nicest guy ever, he’s just socially awkward and has a resting bitch face.

Any headcannons about Aanya?

(Aanya!!! Her moms would be so proud of her & fun fact I almost always spell her name wrong when I try to do it from memory! Anyways, hope you like these!!!!!)

• She pronounces milk like meilk

• Her and her brother Grark train together, 50/50 change for either of them to win. But Aanya beat him every time in archery

• When Corvus & Opeli went to ask for her help, Aanya recognized Opeli form a time when she went to visit Katolis (diplomatic reasons) and Opeli stopped some asshole palace servant from harassing her

• Her queen regent was a very kind lady but lacked a back bone and kinda let some of the (evil) council members walk all over her, but once Aanya dismissed her and became queen herself she made it know very quickly that she was not a pushover

• (If Khessa live) Khessa doesn’t show it but she loves Aanya and for the first time in centuries, Khessa initiated a alliance with Duren

• When it rains she likes to sit be her window and read

• When Aanya was a baby, Grark wouldn’t let her out of his sight wherever Aanya went Grark went

• Goes to her mother’s statue and gives them updates on her life, Grark will join her too sometimes and usually this will end with them crying cause they miss their moms

• Aanya doesn’t feel like she should get to miss her moms since she’s never meet them

(Aanya is such a badass and she needs to be in arc 3, anyways you can always request other tdp characters for me to give headcannons to & hope you like these!!!!!!!)

If I wrote a fic about Grark struggling to support Aanya’s decision to take the throne herself, would you be interested at all?

Grark strikes me as a protective big brother who wants nothing more than for his little sister to thrive with what she has. But she can’t do that with the blade of Duren’s empty throne at her throat, and he can’t support her with the whacky palace environment surrounding them, so he tries his best to keep her away from the toxicity that is Duren’s palacehands and councillors.

Basically a Grark-centric, angsty fic I’m writing to try and flesh out his character (we have -0 info on him save for him being a soldier).

I find it so interesting that Duren is a Matriarchal Government so even if Grark tries to take over or help he can’t do much because well he’s a boy all he can really be is a regent.

It makes me wonder so much about him cause I’ve also interpreted him as a protective brother who has fought hard to fend off enemies and would be assassins

I actually have a fic that briefly goes into Grark as well but its still very much in progress and we’ll see if i ever post it 😅 so I would LOVE to read yours!!
