Oh hi dad
Imagine in a darker (Otherwise a less goofy when comes war) TDP we can see actual warfare but imagine how good humans are at psychological warfare compared to elves who honor traditional warfare while humans had to innovate and adapt to a stronger enemy (as humans do)
A sign at the breach will read;
"Elves. Listen and go home. This is the one warning you will get before archer fire. Our governments have signed our death warrants. We will die here. We will make sure you die here. If you are here your kingdom has abandoned you and sent you only to die._
"Your government has abandoned you. We are protecting all we love and hold dear. We will not move, we will not surrender, we will not fall. Please leave. You are being sent simply to kill and die and be disposed of. Go home and enjoy your wife, Husband and Children. Lest you let others enjoy them while you're away"
"Not one elf beyond this point has come back. Your government knows this and still sends you. We do not like killing, We do not like war nor want it. Beyond this sign is our fields of hate, Your fate will have been sealed and you will be buried according to Katolian custom."
I also like the different armor designs from the soldiers of the Human Kingdoms. From the classic looking Katolians to the fancy Evenereans.
yeah yeah, Aanya's necklace and the trinket Ethari shows off in Bloodmoon Huntress, we've all seen it BUT have we talked about "you are not the only one able to harness the harvest moon's magic" and Duren's royal line as "said to have been selected by the Goddess of the Harvest"?
The Dragon Prince Recipe Book
Winter in the Kingdom of Duren
In Duren, winter is a strange, quiet, and reflective time of year. With the shifting of the season, farming and other day-to-day activities naturally slow, but hard work remains a priority. As a result, it’s very common for friends and family to be gifted materials to make something special so that growth and learning can continue during the otherwise somber winter months. (So, instead of receiving a doll as a gift, a child will be given materials to make the doll themselves.)
