The palace is called the Palace of Peace.
The New Council is made up of elven and human clergy, politicians, military officers, and the royals.
Opeli was made head of the New Council (“If no one will give her a raise, we’ll give her an upgrade.” — Soren).
Duren and the Storm Spire’s riches were major funding allies for the building of Evrkynd, and that then led to a merging of Duren and Katolis to boost Evrkynd’s future and possibilities.
There are three separate libraries within the Palace of Peace; the main one, another purely for Xadian / human history, and a private magical studies library (thank you, Callum, for being a pain in Opeli’s ass about it :3).

Stained glass / mosaic windows of important historical moments (Laurelion vs. Shiruakh, the Novablade, Katolis’ destruction, Duren’s famine, Callum becoming an Archmage, and hundreds of others all randomly distributed around the Palace of Peace).
Statues of historical figures in the middle of the “roundabouts” in the Palace because I thought it was a cute idea (Sarai, Domina Profundis, the Orphan Queen to name a few)
The Palace of Peace is pretty much just the epitome of history and, well, peace. There are so many ups and downs, and shit that had to get done and other shit that had to get scrapped and made up again, but eventually everyone settled on the Palace being this massive symbol of a new era.

By doing right by Soren, Viren ended up unintentionally doing harm to Claudia.
Even though Viren didn't give him the letter which I was both happy and sad about. Sad because their mom leaving sucks, but she was scared I just wished she tried to take them both but in the end I understand. Soren didn't need to see the letter and know the truth because it would have taken away all the confidence he built up while Viren was gone he would have broken. By simply telling Soren that nothing was his fault, and Viren simply admitting it was all him bring a sort of closure. It also makes it so Soren isn't forced to forgive his father who was both his savior and abuser.
On the other hand Claudia gets no closure she didn't have the understanding of why Viren did what he did, or why he changed his mind. She was literally left in the dark. Viren thought by leaving her she would be better off and make choices for the betterment of herself. Claudia did everything for family because that's what she believed Viren also did, but Virens actions became corrupted and selfish. Claudia needed the clarity of that letter in a way Soren didn't.
Claudia has only been positively reinforced to use dark magic to solve her problems. Think about how her support structure consists of Terry, Viren, and Aaravos. Viren always had Claudia's best interests at heart, until he leaves free of dark magic. As far as she's concerned dark magic kept her tied to her father, and Aaravos has also been whispering to her about all the benefits, dark magic had gotten Viren back to her not once but twice. Terry on the other hand is supportive of her no matter what, unfortunately that is both a blessing and a curse. He'll let her choose for herself, but Aaravos is shaping her so she'll follow a dark path and Terry is also made to follow because he loves her.
Claudia having no answers or insight from Viren forces her to stay in the dark, while that lack of clarity pushes Soren forward.
So yesterday I posted a small au on ao3 of what it could have been like if Callum died during the final fight against Aaravos. Just a small one shot literally just a continuation of the scene after he would have died.
Then today, I received the most convoluted and strange comment I have ever seen. And I would have called bullshit, it being a bot or smth but the comment very clearly talked about tdp but none of it has anything to do with the story.
They were using words like "thy" and naming characters I am not sure even exist in canon. So like, do the names Luna Devron and Lissa Del Bar mean anything to people in this fandom?

That one Sunfire elf soldier who looks absolutely terrified while holding the shield line, who Marcos later introduces himself to in the Season 3 finale. She doesn't even have a name but she's special to me.
I'd say Marcos but I don't feel like he's actually underrated by the fandom, we all love Marcos, we just don't see much of him because he's not a protagonist.
Those guards who have been with Ezran since he was a kid, the tall guy and the shorter lady who chat and joke with him and try to make him feel better after Harrow's death.
Is the Crow Master underrated? I feel like I don't see a lot of content about him, but as curious as I am about the Crow Lord and wtf is going on there, I also wanna know what's going on with this poor retail worker in the soul of a medieval pigeon crowkeeper who is clearly just not getting paid enough to deal with half of what he deals with. He also does not have a name. ???

The guards that kept trying to contain Baby Rayla in Bloodmoon Huntress and ended up failing. How did that next conversation with Runaan and Ethari go for them?
The Moonshadow elf lady who saw Runaan's lotus rise and immediately ran to get Ethari. That shit made me laugh so hard. I get that it's supposed to be emotionally wrenching, and Ethari's reaction truly is, but what is her relationship with him that this is her reaction? Does she actually have a personal dynamic with him or has he just been so wrecked for the past two years that any rando from the village would have reacted this way to give him a little bit of hope? (I mean I have my headcanons but I'm well aware I've made them entirely up)
