🔥 Big news from the Dragon Prince universe! 🔥 During the SDCC 2025 panel, Wonderstorm announced a brand-new animated series: The Dragon King, set 7 years after the original series, with returning favorites and god-tier new threats! Fans got a sneak peek at what's to come, along with an exciting Q&A featuring cast and creators! Check out some moments from the panel and swipe to read highlights from the audience questions! Q: Inspiration for the characters? A: Aaron wanted Erik to voice a character because they worked together on ATLA and wanted a mysterious character and then thought of the mirror. Callum was written specifically for Jack and they wanted a step-prince.
Q: Are there things from the earlier seasons that will pay off in the new show? A: Aaron has been talking about the last minute of the show (Dragon King) ever since they first discussed Sol Regem.
Q: Will we learn why Ezran can talk to animals? A: It’s something the writers will think about bc they know people want to know.
Q: Was it hard to put queer characters in the show? A: Not at all, and Netflix helped them out with resources too.
Q: Was Rayla in the peanut butter dream? A: Early in the show Callum views Rayla as a threat, Jack played him at not viewing Rayla romantically until later. So no, not then!
villain and violent / infant and innocent 🍎
So....how do I beg, whine, grovel, yell, debate, argue, fight, tease, harass, or plead the producers into giving us the next saga?
Love the way Ezran asks Karim if he loves his sister.
Karim is like of course I do.
Bro. You wouldn't be causing a war if you actually loved Janai.
Finally watched and finished season 7.
Got to the final episode was like huh guess that old bird theory just didn't pan out. Sucks I liked that one.
....
YOU BASTARDS GIVE ME ARC 3 RN. GREENLIT THAT SHIT PLEASE.
Also pretty please 7 year time skip. Please.
Okay I think I've spoke about this before but here we go again lads. (I might be reaching here so if this makes zero fucking sense plz don't tell me 😭) So in S1 E5 (I think) Runaan is in the dungeon and Viren shows him the mirror. Runaan states that Viren has found a fate worse than death. Now, since Runaan was tasked by Zubeia herself to kill Harrow and Ez, it could be speculated that he has some sort of a history with her and Avizandum. Now obviously it seems that he knows of Aaravos being trapped in the mirror, but what if he also knew (thru Avizandum and Zubeia) the story of Leola? And how Aaravos's prison would be torturous, seeing how his prison is his home. The home that he most likely raised Leola in. The place she died. What if Runaan was also referring to the fact that he (Aaravos) has to live hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of years without his daughter. What if that was the fate worse than death? (It would be for me)
