🦩REVIEW🦩 See Me After Class  by Meghan Quinn  Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5+ stars    🦩“I was tempting the beast and I didn’t know how to stop.” 🦩 Love-love-loveeeddd it!! I don’t even know where to begin with this book, it was amazing. First of all we have an enemies to lovers romance (who doesn’t love that); second, we get a teacher-romance standalone (I didn’t know I could love this trope but now I DO); third, we get an age gap rom-com and; finally, we get scorching hot chapters, and let me tell you something, Meghan Quinn knows how to write the hottest scenes so you get all the tickles in the right places 😈  Greer is the new teacher with new teaching methods and a bubbly personality; but there’s one person who doesn’t agree with her ways and that’s one hunk of a teacher, Mr. Turner, who is a complete ass with her since the beginning; now is her turn to show the stuck up English teacher how to lighten up!!  The sexual tension is magnificent between the characters and don’t even get me started on the whole emotionally unavailable alpha who can’t stay away from the new girl. #Romancestagram : Teachers 👩🏻‍🏫 Since I expressed my resistance to the teacher/student trope yesterday, I thought I’d share one romance where the female lead is a professor and the male lead is a student and it doesn’t creep me out. This is because he’s not in any of her classes and he has returned to college after something held him back. Meaning he’s not young and the problematic power dynamic that usually happens in this trope isn’t present. Plus, this book is sweet as sugar and has a companion graphic novel. Love Like Ours by @melissafoster_author is the third in the Sugar Lake series which I’d definitely recommend! 👩🏾‍🏫 I feel like I can say I do or don’t like a certain trope, but there are always exceptions.
