An Aberration's Guide to Surviving in Baldur's Gate

Omeluum, weary of the struggle of existence as a lone illithid in the Underdark, decides to try its luck in the city. It arrives in Baldur's Gate with nothing more than its host's memories of and passion for tea, a few possessions, and enough money to (hopefully) start up a small shop. That, and a diamond-hard core of determination. It isn't looking to become fabulously wealthy, merely make enough to get by and fund its attempts to develop a supplement to replace the brains its biology requires it to eat.

It certainly doesn't expect to make any friends. After all, who would be so foolish as to trust an illithid?

While there is a good deal of overlap, there are things it experiences, or notices, which are somewhat different than Blurg's perspective. God!Reader who owns the only teahouse in Mondstadt. Now Mondstadt no longer just relies on Dawn Winery for income, because Reader's tea is so good that their teahouse becomes a must-visit for foreign tourists and Mondstadt locals alike, as well as paving a way for a Mondstadt tea industry to start.

Oftentimes, there's a gremlin creature with braids that's clad in green that frequents the teahouse and plays a few tunes in exchange for a few cups of warm apple tea and your vibrantly beautiful smile. He doesn't know why, but there's just something about you that makes him want to hang around. And when you started talking? He felt like you know more than you let on, especially with the way you're looking at him right now, like you know he's Barbatos.

But that couldn't be possible... right?

Morax and Beelzebul looks at him as he sits down on their shared table after he secured free tea from you.

"Here's your tea. Drink it while it's still warm~"

You give the three archons a meaningful smile and they suppressed the need to flinch.
