Mackenzie Phillips was a Disney star in the 90s in a show called So Weird.
Team Barb forever. 💖👓
[I really want to read this. Mackenzie Phillips I’m so proud of her. Not only does she have a drug abuse past she now works with people that are in recovery and after being Sober to be able to protray a druggie must of brought back memories. She was EXTREMELY convincing. Especially the fly scene.]
“Actress and author of the courageous New York Times bestselling memoir High on Arrival, Mackenzie Phillips—Hollywood’s go-to person on substance abuse and a visible and outspoken advocate for addiction awareness and education—brings her knowledge and voice on the subject of recovery for the first time, and shares her experiences for those who are trying to overcome addiction.
As the daughter of lead singers of the 1960s band The Mamas and The Papas, Mackenzie Phillips grew up in a dysfunctional environment and subsequently battled a near-fatal drug addiction. Now, delivered with warmth and candor, she presents the wisdom she gained from her own personal journey through addictions and her understanding of practical treatment from her work as a rehabilitation counselor. Using her own life experiences as examples of proven recovery methods, she shares the tools and holistic approaches that are available to help you on your journey to recovery.
Treatment is not “one-size-fits-all” and Mackenzie encourages addicts and their support networks to research the methods that most effectively address their individual physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. Used by both recovering addicts and their families, Mackenzie’s book is a message of hope and reminds us that sobriety is a lifelong journey of the spirit that allows us to lift ourselves up even when we stumble and fall.”
The best of S06 Orange Is The New Black. These characters fell in love with them as soon as they appeared. I love their backstory. I want to know more. I hope S07 they return (I know they’re dead) but hopefully flash backs ect..Or like a small show about Carol and Barb Denning. Something like the small internet show Pretty Dirty Secrets based on a time line in Pretty Little Liars.
Stranger Things
Stranger Things
Overall, I really enjoyed Stranger Things. Except for their treatment of Barb. Like really? Can we stop this now? Nancy, you're cool and all, but your adorable 80 lb ass and big doe eyes and budding sexuality is in EVERY SURVIVAL HORROR MOVIE ALREADY. Can we please have a survival horror where the "unattractive" girl who's the unfortunately awkward and excluded bestie of the heroine doesn't get fucking forgotten and turned into a victim? I'm ready for a fucking change, guys. If you can make Shaun of the Dead and 100 other movies about nerdy, fat, unattractivd men being the adventure hero, can you PLEASE give a cute girl who isn't 105 lbs soaking wet a chance???
I know I’m literally the last person on the Internet to arrive at this party, but I just finished Stranger Things and holy crap did it live up to the hype. So hello and welcome this will probably turn into an Eleven Appreciation Blog now, with a side of Barb Deserved Better and a generous helping of We Must Protect These Children.
