Which bender would each person be?

Sonic: Air; this is for obvious reasons..
Tails: Water; now, let me explain! I was thinking that he might be an Earth bender because of how resourceful he is and crafty in making and inventing things but his whole arc that SEGA is trying to create is change. How he can grow and be less scared.. if I do make this into a fic, he could be a little inspired by Katara… how will his inventive side come into play? Well, water is everywhere and so his discovery in getting water from the most strangest things.
Knuckles: First I was thinking fire but then I realised that his determined, stubborn and grounding characteristics make him more fit to be an earthbender.
Amy: Fire. Fire is not power, fire is life as we learn from the dragons in ATLA. Amy’s blazing and strong heart to protect those she cares and spread love all around is what makes her so passionate and strong.
I’m working on this fic. This is the reason I have not posted much often on the other piece and this could be a big project. This will also be team freedom centric and have no avatar as it makes it too similar to the ATLA plot and overpower one character completely. Instead, this journey will be about each of these characters learning how to master their ability with a few rivals and enemies along the way.
