Stannis Baratheon died FOR NOTHING!
SHIREEN BARATHEON DIED FOR NOTHING!!!!
Why in the seven hells did D&D hate the Baratheon family so much just to give us THAT FUCKING SHIT????,
I Miss Him
So anyway...GoT
I didn’t watch seasons six and seven due to rage at the showrunners, but I have come back for the final season. I will just say that while the battle of Winterfell was no Helms Deep it was a great episode of television and best I have seen of the show since probably Season Four... even if there was a severe lack of tactical genius on the part of both armies’ commanders
I think there are still a couple of big twists to come,so everyone worrying about a lack of fulfilment for particular character arcs and Cersei not being a full endgame threat doesn’t need to worry too much about being disappointed
Also anyone moaning about Arya being a mary sue probably missed those seasons of her training to be a magical assassin. Though I do understand the frustration that many of our heroes survived a battle they seemingly shouldn’t have; and some of our expectations were not met by episode’s end
Glad I came back for this series overall though
Finally I am very glad Team Stannis once again saved the entire world from destruction (you are all welcome). And the confirmation that the Lord of Light is indeed very real and powerful warmed my heart,
Beric is the true MVP, rip our champion
If Only...
There was a way of knowing what the GoT writers are going to do over the next couple of episodes; not like there is a good example of them tearing down a great character for no reason other than shock value and needing a cheap villain
I remember why I stopped watching this bloody show back in Season 5
