Oscar: We. And I don't think we necessarily need one. We can all just continue to work together collab--

Nora: I nominate Oscar

Ren: Seconded.

Oscar: Wh-?

Ozpin: Would it be considered nepotism if I were to third?

Oscar: Hang on--

Nora: Emerald?

Emerald: Gonna be real, I a hundred percent already thought you were the leader so this changes nothing for me.

Nora: Motion carried!

Oscar: Where did you get a gavel?!

Why call them team oren why not Nero it means black and for them with out the others life could seem black XD

I've heard a lot of great names for them!

NOER: Noir (means black)

ROEN: Rowan (the tree)

OREN: Oren (means pine)

OLVE: Olive (means a fucking olive)

LOVE: Love (not a color, invalid)

I tend to use OREN and OLVE because OREN was the first one I saw and I suggested OLVE so I have bias to that one (though I get people wanting to stick with first initials), but I have used NOER before as well! It comes down to who the team leader is, if they wind up having that dynamic. I feel in-universe it makes a lot of sense for Oscar to take up that role, given how he acts every time there isn't a leader around or the leader isn't being a leader. He always steps up, and his leadership skills are pretty prominent in the Atlas arc, especially volume 8, and I've enjoyed every instance, so I'd love to see him in a position to use them more often!

I can also see it being Nora, though, as part of her "finding out who just Nora is" arc! That could be really interesting :D

But yeah, I use OLVE because it's the one I thought of, and OREN because it's the most common one I see (I usually tag both lol)
