And now, actually, a little bit about this elf, which was created by the community in discord. The guys have released a large collection of mods that make Skyrim more challenging and interesting. And they added the Falmer game race and the boss Olve, which I drew. And interestingly, although he is currently one of the strongest bosses in the mod build, if you play as Fulmer, you can talk to him accordingly and complete several tasks.

Overall, it's not bad, especially because the guys are improving their creativity every time, so I hope they'll tell us a little more about this elf and the beautiful Falmer race in general.

Emerald: Pass.

Ren: Not really a color. Besides, that would make me the leader. We still haven't decided on one.

Emerald: You don't have a leader?

Oscar: We. And I don't think we necessarily need one. We can all just continue to work together collab--

Nora: I nominate Oscar

Ren: Seconded.

Oscar: Wh-?

Ozpin: Would it be considered nepotism if I were to third?

Oscar: Hang on--

Nora: Emerald?

Emerald: Gonna be real, I a hundred percent already thought you were the leader so this changes nothing for me.

Nora: Motion carried!

Oscar: Where did you get a gavel?!

·       In the scene where Oz finally talks to the team once again, they made sure to have Emerald in the shot a lot, since both Oz and Emerald are seeking apologies. They’re not quite part of the group yet.

I think this clarification from the V8 commentary is extremely important, and emphasizes that both Emerald and Oz will have character development and redemption in future volumes, having the buildup in V8, which leads to the beginning of those arcs in Vacuo during OLVE's POVs and then continuing and possibly coming to something of a conclusion when RWBYJ(N?) return from the Island.

Three masters? None, they’re all pricks. But if I really must play this game, then.. the new hybrid guy, dragon and vampire. Super blue eyes, pretty hot. No clue what his name is. The other two I guess would be.. Gotrik.. just so I can see what the fuss is about.. and Benji ‘cause he’s an ass that I could definitely get the better of. As for slaves… Finn, always. Great mouth and ass on him. Oh, and the two newish guys, Olve and Juan.

One of the things that I’m looking forward to the most with the upcoming volume(s), is seeing everyone deal with and heal from their trauma, and while RWBY+J have much trauma to be addressed, OLVE does, as well. 

Oscar, especially, has endured so much, far more physically than the others, and I hope that is addressed, hopefully in the form of a scar, and maybe some breathing problems or pain flareups or sensitivity issues. 

But everyone has plenty of potential, from survivor's guilt to unhealthy coping mechanisms, night terrors and triggered flashbacks, paranoia and new phobias, depression and heightened anxiety, restlessness and phantom pain, etc. etc.

Everyone experiences and copes with trauma differently, so it wouldn't get repetitive, and there is just so much to be explored. Doing so would also help emphasize the effect everything has had on the characters.

I'm just gonna say it:

If CRWBY decides to skip showing OLVE's character arcs in any way, it will be the biggest disaster RWBY has ever done and it will certainly cement that volume as one of the worst in the series, for completely ignoring some of the most built up groundwork that would lead to some of the most important character development arcs in the entire show.

Cute, but I meant a D&D elf, not a Tolkien elf. Tolkien's elves are super catholic. D&D elves know how to party.
