I just fcking finished watching sex/life and all I can say is, what an absolute fcking mess. I'm a 22 yo woman and I'm so concerned on what the series is imprinting into people's minds.
I don't even know why I tried to finish it?? I was addicted to it because I'm really looking forward to the reconciliation process between cooper and Billie, but instead it ended up badly???
How can a person do that??? Why'd you marry and have kids with cooper if that is what you want??? How toxic is that??? Those poor kids???
I mean yea, kudos for trying to portray a women's inner conflict when it comes to that taboo subject. Maybe a little percentage of the women's population is experiencing that at some point, I respect that thought and appreciate it being voiced out BUT the ending of the season screams like they tolerated the bullshit Billie did??? Like??? What is wrong with you girl?
As for cooper, the guy tried to fulfill Billie's desires. Even going out of his comfort zone just to keep up with her. Tried going to a sex club even he's uncomfortable with it. He's willing to work it out, but what did Billie want? Her stupid ex and the thrill. Billie is accountable too for the sudden change in cooper's character development, the guy desperately wanted to save his marriage and is willing to do anything! I get it that it is still his choice to be like that in the end, but as I said before, He did those things because he wanted Billie to have what she fcking wants. Regarding his bruised ego, well who's ego will not be bruised?? it's normal for him to be hurt and offended if he read something like that! who will not be??? . It's the same for girls out there anyway so yup double standards. He's wrong for not communicating properly to bille, but he doesn't deserve what Billie and Brad did to him so fck them both.
As for that douche of an ex, brad. No matter how much character development you tell me he'd been through the series, and how he tried to let Billie go in the end (maybe I'll be slightly convinced he's changed if in se02 he will turn down Billie's offer to fuck ) it still doesn't change the fact that he tried to seduce a MARRIED WOMAN. Tried to home wreck a family ... so yup he's still a selfish prick.

As for Billie, I have no words to describe you girl. go get some help. Therapy from an actual psychologist WHO IS NOT YOUR FRIEND so you can have an unbias opinion.
