"So do ya still hate Salmander?" Gajeel glances at his former fire mage guild mate from phantom lord.

Totomaru would look at Gajeel as his former comrade asked him about that annoying fire-flinging child he had faced. The fight they had hadn’t even had a proper end since some of the fire slayers’ own comrades had interrupted. He would scoff and turn his nose slightly.
“I certainly don’t like him any more than I did before. The guy is a nuisance and needs to grow up.”
He almost hissed out his answer but held his tongue. Natsu was a very sore subject for the fire mage, and the more they spoke he was certain Gajeel would become aware of that fact. He would lift the glass he had water to his lips and take a gulp as he watched Gajeel’s expression to see his reaction.
“Given the fact that he spat in my face I’m sure you would have the same sentiment as I do in regards to his existence.”
Gajeel had that feeling that Totomaru even before he expressed it would have a hatred for Natsu which included Fairy Tail. It was complicated for the iron dragon though since he would avoid the guild, but still go by and do missions. It was almost like a defection, but he knew that he needed the money to make a living and pay bills. If the other former phantom judged him or not the iron dragon didn’t give a shit since he knew there would be bitter feelings either way. Was his former comrade resentful and felt he betrayed him with the obligation of joining the chaotic guild that had defeated their own dark guild? It was possible, but the enforcer knew that it was still a bitter taste to him of his defeat and never to one to forgive it either. Among other things he just didn’t want to rehash on it with him since he didn’t want to sour their supposed left of their friendship if it even existed still.
He wasn’t sure of the outcome of Totomaru’s fight with Natsu and back then he saw him weak and the others, as having no place in the guild. However, now the iron dragon wanted to savage what they had left. He gave him a stern look as the Fire element mage mentioned his down fall.
“I do, I would kick his fucking ass. but its really complicated since I’m forced to get along with him. He may be an childish asshole, but he at least respects me now.” He gulped down the liquor he had in his glass and nearly broke it against the table.
“So what ya been up to lately?”
