This is their Irish Red Ale, it sits at 5% and rocks East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops, it pours an opaque dark red with an off-white foamy head and a toffee nose, it’s malty with a mild biterness, hella crushable and approachable, tons of caramel, roasty vibes, super creamy with a dusty finish. #6654 Riverbend Bitter Rousse (Canada) It’s #TeamRousse all day, so when I got hold of Riverbend’s cans with their crisp new branding, obvi this is the beer I was reaching for first. Coming in at 3.8%, it pours a deep red brown with an off-white head and a toasty nose, the body is light and crisp, a touch creamy, mild bitterness, caramel vibes with earthy notes, super crushable, clean with a dry, smooth finish.
