Testing out Face Republic Face Masks ♡

These were sent to me by face republic for free but it doesn't mean that I will not be honest with my review. Just want to say that before I talk about these masks. ♡

I decided to review 2-3 variants per post so that the caption won't be too long.

First Impressions:

• The sheet mask itself is not that thin compared to the korean masks I've tried before.

• At first feel, I thought the sheet mask was dry, or it doesn't have much essence in it. But it has quite enough amount of essence, but not to the point that it is soaked wet with a lot of essence.

• It doesn't stick to the face very well, I think because it is lacking in essence or the sheet mask is quite thick/heavy. But it must stick fine after you squeezed out all of the essence from the pack.

• Smell is nice, natural. Not overpowering.

Healing Tea Tree Oil Mask

(+) helped to calm my skin (my skin was acting up before I used it and I had redness all over my face, after 20 mins, redness was gone and my skin felt soothed and refreshed.

(+) I usually wake up with little white bumps in the morning, but when I woke up the next morning after I used it, I almost didn't saw any small white bumps.

(+) Tea tree oil has healing properties, I think this one helped my skin to become less irritated-looking (I hope I'm making sense 😅) I was really busy this whole week and I think it caused my skin to act up and feel irritated/super sensitive maybe that's why I had redness all over my face.

(-/+) The smell might be too much for you if you're not used to the smell of tea tree oil, but nonetheless it smells very natural.

(+) After masking time, your face feels hydrated. Which I think always happens whenever you mask.

Rejuvenating Honey Nutrient Mask

(+) Made my skin hydrated, plump and glowy after masking

(+) Smell/Scent this time was okay, it was kind of sweet.

(+/-) Didn't noticed that much of after effect, but I liked that it made my skin glowy when I woke up.

Considering the price point, I would grade these 2 masks B ❤

Morning masking today with the @huangjisoo_official Tea Tree Soothing Mask. My face is freaking out from a new toner I’ve been trying to test. I called it quits and now I’m trying to repair the damages. • This mask has a herbal medicine smell - it’s strong with tea tree but there are lots of other extracts in this mask (like lavender, mushroom, and licorice). • The material is soft, and almost like a thick gauze. There are deep slits in the material to allow for a more custom fit to your face. I appreciated this a lot but still had a few open spots where the mask did not cover - not bad though! • A note for sensitive skin: There was a cooling sensation while I wore this mask that lasted until I took it off, and a couple minutes afterwards until the essence fully absorbed. • As directed I left the mask on for 15 minutes. When I removed the mask I couldn’t believe how calm my skin looked! Zero redness, acne spots looked flat and faded (albeit temporarily), and my skin was of course hydrated. Today’s mask is this @innisfreesingapore tea tree mask! I had a small pimple around my lip so I decided to try the tea tree one for today. The mask was soaked in clear essence like liquid that is very watery and the material is a thin cottony type mask. The fit is nice for my face. I was talking to my mum since she called me to say happy birthday to me and I totally forgot to check the results. I think I left it in for around 15 minutes and the sheet mask felt a bit dry. Although there was a lot of Essence left in the packet, i didn’t even bothered to put on more. It was not as hydrating as my green tea one or the cucumber one but it was okay!
