Customer review of Handmade Jianyang Jianzhan Tea Cups - Golden Pink and Deep Blue Couple Cups

I was a little bit nervous when ordering these tea cups, because the colour and pattern of these cups are so individual - there is no way to know what you'll receive exactly. However, having had very good experience with teavivre.com in the past (especially when ordering a beautiful YiXing tea pot) I decided to go for it anyway. I can only say that I'm very happy with these beautiful tea cups. The colours really have to be seen to be believed. The "Deep blue" cup is just that: beautiful tones of blue against a deep, shiny black background. Tones of silver reflect light very mysteriously, and all kinds of blues and greens can be seen when holding it up to the light. The "Golden Pink" cup is a bit more modest at first sight, but just wait until you see it in bright light, preferably sunlight. With every change in angle of the light, new colours seem to appear, and this effect is only enhanced when tea is poured in the cup. The tea looks like honey, or even like some kind of liquid sunlight.
