Kimura Trap back to arm bar flows #Repost @nikkicuddlejitsu ・・・ What is your go to no gi grip? I've been using the kimura trap in competition and in training, both gi and no gi, since I was a blue belt. Here is a drill that really helps me sharpen my transitions using this grip. From back control, I set up the armbar by making a modified kimura/seatbelt grip, moving my elbow around to the other side of the face, falling to my hip, and kicking the face away with my leg. If my opponent defends by pushing my leg off of his head and sitting up into me, I use his momentum to make a drag with my kimura grip, getting myself out of the way, and landing right on the back. Try it out! 🤙🏼 . . . #techniqueoftheweek #kimuratrap #armbar #backpack #nogi #bjj #brazilianjiujitsu #jiujitsu #bjjgirl #bjjtechniques #bjjvideos #nevergiveup #neverstoptraining https://www.instagram.com/p/B3ItBfwnWji/?igshid=oaexzxmozosr
