Oh dear....

I really just asked Steve Jobs up in heaven to make sure that my iphone restored properly after it got wiped out in an update....he answered my prayer. Made me sad for myself that I was so anxious about a phone....

Cellphone

I look at my wonderful expensive phone and I wonder.

"Do I really need it?"

I was anxious when my father told me that I would get a new one If I did well on the college exam, and when I did, my mind split.

One side said "The grade you got was your reward, besides, do you really want a tiny computer?"

The other one "BUY.IT"

I got it, but I kind of regret the decision.

I don't want to be like my girlfriend, even when she is with me, she's using the cellphone, and talking with me, that annoys me intensely.

My friends sometimes text people that are on the same room.

I made a vow to myself, to never be like that.

That vow is still up, but it's hard to maintain, as I write now' I've must have checked it four or six times.

I don't want to be a slave of it.

I Don't care if everyone does it, I am not everyone.

I already miss too much of life being in social lock-down in my bedroom/mind.

I don't want to be looking at life trough a tiny screen, I want to see it with my own eyes.

Today

I'm just letting my phone die today.... I just want a break from everyone I know.

Not having any WhatsApp messages or SMSes doesn't make my life "sad".

I enjoy the peace and quiet and the time I can spent with myself doing things that I enjoy.

Imagine your iPhone (or any other smartphones) going off the whole day - now that's sad because you're a slave to technology.

Some people really have skewed idea of what "sad" or "lonely" is.
