A good chunk of it is actually going to Tao’s tinkering and building, that’s for sure, by the look of all the little gadgets the kid is lugging around with him. But Tony can keep track of his own assets if he ever has the mind to, and at least a small amount of that spending is slightly suspicious. Just slightly.

Because he’s not a heathen. He knows the meaning of the word considerate. And, honestly, he shouldn’t have tried to kill Tao in the first place... the kid really would have been better off as someone he could enjoy the company of, in his social life. But oh well, things had gone how they had, and there was no use moping over it.
