"Well this isn't a sight you see every day. Hello there, I hope you don't mind my words I'm just.." Steven rubbed his chin still unsure of what to say. Maybe it was best to not speak a word and just do as he normally would. "Anyways, Hello to you. I am Steven, Steven Stone."
» Send me “Don’t chase the rabbit” and your muse will be shown a random memory from my muse’s past.
“Archie, dude, care to go out and take care of whatever is makin’ that damned noise?”
Oh well.
After painstakingly standing up from the couch and going out the RV in the search for the sound’s source, he found himself staring at a little whining figure in the ground. He wasn’t sure what he was looking was real; he couldn’t be sure in his current state.
Sore ran through his body as he shakily kneeled down to check out what it was. “What is…?” He moved his hands towards the thing that seemed to be a Pokémon.
A hiss. The thing tried to bite him.
“Arceus be damned!!” He screamed as he snatched his hand back. Sudden anger started boiling inside him. He raised his arm and swung it against it. “Ffffuckin’ bastard!”
He stopped himself just before hitting it, because it was then when he saw it.
It was a little Zubat, and it was shaking. It was a little shaking ball because it curled over to protect itself from the man’s smack.
He grimaced feeling the guilt take over him. Using all his might he backed up, and leaned against the RV. He felt bad. The Pokémon was scared of him. He almost hit it. He covered his face with his shaking hands. The Pokémon’s cries were louder now and they made it even harder for him to concentrate. He didn’t know what to do; his mind was just too blurry; too many substances in his body.
After what felt like hours Archie finally made it to look back at the creature, only to find out that it was painfully crawling away from him. He stood up rather fast for a person in his state and followed it. Scared, the Pokémon tried to fly, only managing to lift itself up a little from before harshly falling down. It cried in pain and Archie felt even worst.
Cautiously the man leaned down and picked it up, much to the panic of the poor Zubat. Holding it cautiously, he made his way back to the RV in complete silence, using its walls to stay balanced. He entered, ignoring completely his friend’s questions to go directly to his bed, where he placed the Pokémon after wrapping it in a towel.
Done that, he also got into the bed, curling in the opposite side and quickly falling asleep.
The next day the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was the little creature still leaning there.
“Monin’…” Archie murmured.
The Zubat flinched, startled by the man’s voice.
Again, the guilt took over him. “Don’t be afraid… Imma help ya…” He spoke softly. “I-I will take ya to a Pokémon Center… They will surely fix ya…” He said after glancing over its wings and realizing it couldn’t move one them.
Quickly, he got up and tried to get himself as presentable as he could, even though taking the signs of his wild night off was almost impossible. Making his way out of the RV he found his friends sleeping on the floor, the bottles and cigars left from the party spread all around the place. He passed by them, carrying the little Zubat in arms.
All the way to the Center the Pokémon was quite. After handing it to the nurse Archie sat on the waiting room. Several minutes later, the lady came with news about it.
“Its wing was broken.” She said “Probably due to other Pokémon’s attack, since it is still really young it couldn’t defend itself. But I’m positive he will heal with no complications, he will just need a lot of care, because yes, it is a boy…” She chuckled.
He smiled back, even though he was feeling conflicted.
“What will happen to him if there is no one willing to take its care?” Archie inquired. He didn’t want another Pokémon; he was fine just with his Carvanha. Watching over another one with his current life style wasn’t a good idea at all, and he knew it.
“He would be taken to the adoption section. Once there, well, it would up to fate if someone decides to keep it…”
A Zubat. Archie though. Who in this world would want to adopt a Zubat? They were by far the most annoying Pokémon out there. Hordes could be found easily. Who would want to keep an injured one when they could jus catch a healthy one? Damn, he still felt pretty bad for almost beating it the night before. He couldn’t take out of his mind the way it tried to ran away from him even if it hurt, his little shaking body, his cries… He just couldn’t ignore it.
“You told me it was a wild Pokémon, right? I should be taking him there then…” She asked as she walked over to pick the cage the injured creature was.
“N-no! I…uh I was just…” He walked after her “Just commentin’, it is….” He extended his hand, asking for the cage. “…It is mine.”
“Oh!” She handed it to Archie before walking back inside “Sorry I misunderstood!”
“Yeah…”
Raising the cage to look at the now sleeping Pokémon he let out a deep sigh. Another one? And a useless one? What was he thinking?
Fuck.
“Welcome to the Team buddy” He whispered before walking off to his place.
-- The tricky fox Pokemon had just been settling down for a nap, when he found himself interrupted. He let out a tired sigh, peering up at the stranger. He only gave a little sound of acknowledgement, a hint of curiosity in the sound.
It was finally nightfall, but the weather still made Ruben feel strange... it was like an odd presence was before him. Something... oddly familiar, as if he had been near it before... Nah, he was probably just imagining things. Holding onto his pointed hat, he adjusted it and felt a grin creep along his features; he crept a bit away from the woods, moving towards a bush. "Keh... they will fail to find me here, neh, then they can finally get scared...~"
Too bad his hat was sticking out like a sore thumb over the tops of the bushes...
((Archie and I are virgins XDD We also like rum (freakin' LOVE Captain Morgan's~), swimming, and helping others~ ouo))
4. What is your muse’s best trait?
((Archie's best trait would have to be his ability to put the past behind him, and become a better person than he was 11 years ago. 11 years ago, he was ruthless, to his own team and his own Poke'mon. He cared for no one but himself. But now, he embraces what's left of Team Aqua as an extended family, and adores his Poke'mon. And he's mended his relationship with Maxie and has a huge crush on him. He's turned himself around for good.))
51. Do you have any secret talents?
((Ummmmmmm I can sound like a cat, I can quote Titanic and Jurassic Park almost completely, and....I dunno what are secret talents anyways?? XDD))
Ahhhhhh yeah, I'd love to play with you! What would you like? Like, which character, lit or script, etc.? ;; > ;;
((WELL for my character I have Feng, considering he's a legendary as well and he likes to interact with others like him, and you can choose whichever of yours you'd like to RP as uwu and I'm better at lit RPing because I like to write a lot!!))
