The same reason I would never tell you what to believe is the same reason I wouldn't tell Michelle Bachmann what to believe, or Obama for that matter. It's the freedom of being an American.

Perhaps you misunderstand.

Bachmann is free to believe anything she wishes, as are you.

However, when Michelle Bachmann attacks me personally--as a gay man--from her congressional bully pulpit, and attempts to strip me of rights that others have in this country, I don't think I'm out of line posting a link with public photos of her that you deem 'seedy'--the Rude Pundit is, after all, rude. My motivation was to say goodbye Michelle, I won't miss your ignorance and hatred.

Thanks for educating me re: blacks making historical gains in Congress.  I didn't know about Love, Scott, and Hurd. If you had simply stated these were Republicans (in Utah, South Carolina, and Texas no less), I wouldn't have challenged you.

Yes, but the Republican are at 54/247- they've basically "cleaned house". It is a historic landslide takeover with many African American taking seats for the very first time- making history. just find it kind of interesting how downplayed this is...

If your point is merely to gloat, so be it. This "historic landslide takeover", without a veto-proof majority, will likely yield fewer results and more gridlock than the 113th Congress. We should brace ourselves for some stunning legislative proposals, particularly from the Tea Party fringe.

Blacks taking seats in Congress isn't historic and I don't understand your point. Perhaps you can name them and discuss why it's an issue.

With the retirement of Bachmann, I would also expect some other Republican to step up and make clear just how abhorrent, sinful, debauched, etc, we gay folk are...and to later discover that Republican in an abhorrent, sinful, debauched sex scandal.

In the meantime, Obama can make things happen with executive orders. I would encourage him to get creative, too. Throw some lefties in there just to watch the Republicans go into a tailspin.

Because Bachmann is such an easy target, perhaps.

That's a single comment, and it's jam-packed with ignorance and contempt.

Also, the last time I checked there were still 188 Democrats in Congress and 45 in the Senate.
