The brainworms consumed me and I made a Scarredmoon fanchild

And yes, this all started because @serendipitys-dragon pointed out my oc Verdance looks like their kid, and I couldn't rest until they had a different goober to call their daughter.

Her name is Cricket, and is a vex-moth hybrid. While Scar hides his vex traits with magic, they still pass on genetically, and since vex traits are dominant she doesn't look much like a moth hybrid, especially since Pearl barely shows any moth traits herself in certain instances. Crickets skin tone is closer to her mothers, and while she has the same ear shape as her father, pearls light blue moth coloring creeps up inside them as well as in her freckles. Her tail is much to big for her, I imagine vex hybrids are born with nearly full size tails and grow into them over time. Her teeth are pointed like her parents, but she wanted them flat and strait out of some sort of teen insecurity, so she got braces to make them look flatter, like a normal player. 

She was born from a vex egg spawned by Scar, but it fed off Pearls energy as well as it grew, and she was technically the ‘other parent’ because her code was mixed with Scars to create it. Scar came home from Pearls base with a migraine and while he was taking Advil a tiny egg popped up on his countertop lol. Scar gets broody and possessive over the egg, and he only really lets Pearl and Cub near it, and sometimes Grian if the avian is being really good. (I really want to share more about the egg and broody Scar lol, and I will soon. @solargeist tegg au had me obsessed if you couldnt tell lmao)

But skipping to after its hatched, I think once Scars head is a bit more clear, he has a much healthier father/daughter relation with Cricket. I think he would be the ‘fun parent’, while Pearl is a little more overprotective. She doesnt really have an issue with Cricket doing things that are dangerous to her health, but any new relationship her daughter has makes Pearl immediately go murder mode. She’s doing background checks, shes following them home, she’s gonna find everything about this person. If she thinks it's healthy, great! If she doesnt… 

I know fankids are usually younger, and I did make a sketch of her at like 6 here ->

but tbh I just don't like drawing little kids lol, so teenage child is what you get. I tried to make her a younger, more awkward teen at least, so I hope your not upset with that. 

I’m gonna call this the Scarredmoon kid au, so if I make more stuff for this, I’ll tag it :DDD
