My comment.  I just can't.   asadlksjfawaelsdkjf! So sweet and funny.  In which all the Lans periodically turn into rabbits, to help them to blow off some steam.

if you’re ever in brussels then I HIGHLY recommend losing a few hours in the musée magritte, which is how I first fell in love with magritte’s work.

I have a friend who copyedits to make ends meet, freelance, while working on her novel. It... does not pay well. at all. and getting gigs is a constant hustle. and the work is frequently shitty. and Problematic. and she's not allowed to challenge it; she's Just the copy editor.

Some additional info for the copyeditor questioner! 

To this, yeah, I’m not surprised. I appreciate our copyeditors/proofreaders, but honestly by the time a document goes to them, unless they’re an enormously trusted resource, I don’t have time or inclination to hear edits. The role at that juncture is to make sure you capture everything we’ve missed in terms of grammar/spelling/potential typos

Managed to call Feinstein! Apparently she voted against Sessions this morning, and Tillerson, so here’s hoping. Took me five tries to get through though >.<

I mean keep in mind that senators are reporting getting 55 thousand calls about certain topics, so to say that their offices are flooded is to understate the case by like, quite a lot. But yeah - keep calling if you can’t get through, and make your case when you do.
