Teledra was growing so fast...
Erikka had never believed she could love a tiny, helpless being as much as she loved Teledra. It was lucky that she didn't have steady employment at the moment because she easily lost herself in watching the tiny girl for hours at a time. Eating her own feet seemed to be the baby's favourite pasttime.
Raikis was an amazing father, though he might deny it if anyone ever called him out on it. He crafted adorable, dapper baby clothing for their daughter and took care of everything that Erikka was too exhausted to deal with. They were luck to have a baby with such a sweet disposition who actually slept through most nights.
Once Arthamir was accepting regular visitors, she would have to compare baby notes with him. Tiny elves were almost as fun as explosives.
Teledra: That’s disgusting. Oh dear Akatosh, what was this guy, some sort of morbid cannibal?
Teledra: Annnd there’s a journal. Of course there’s a journal that holds all the killer’s secrets in the middle of a cannibal’s dinner party… ah, gods. I hope I’m getting paid for this.
Teledra: The Butcher, interesting. Maybe this woman will know what happened to this place. Or maybe it is this woman. Who else holds a pretty necklace like this.
Teledra: Oh hey, false panel. Oh ho ho, I’ll have your secrets now Sir Butc—
Teledra: BY THE NINE!
Teledra: Steward?
Jorleif: The name is Jorleif, actually. Do you need something?
Teledra: The murders that have been going on – I want to be a part of it.
Jorleif: I beg your pardon!?
Teledra: Wait no! I mean, I want to help solve them.
Jorleif: Hmm, very well. My men are stretched thin as it is, if you think you can help then go ahead.
Teledra: Oh yes! Inspector Teledra off to duty!
Guard: Stand back citizen.
Teledra: Is this some sort of cannibalistic Nordic ritual?
Guard: Excuse me? Another girl has been killed and I’m inspecting.
Teledra: Another?
Guard: She’s the third taken.
Teledra: Why don’t you people, you know, stop it.
Guard: Well if you think you can do better then go ahead. Question the witnesses, examine the body – show me your investigator skills.
Teledra: Okay, fine. I can do that. Hey you, grey-haired man!
Guard: Hey, stop that, I wasn’t being – urgh.
Teledra: I can grab a few supplies from the market before I head back to Riften. I don’t really want to stay here for longer than I have to afte— By the Nine!
Teledra: Are they sacrificing someone?
Teledra: Oh never mind there’s a guard. Still, what in Oblivion is going on here?!
Teledra: Back in the drabness of Windhelm. I hope Aventus is still hanging around.
Aventus: Hey – you’re back! Did you do it, is Grelod… you know?
Teledra: She’s dead.
Aventus: Yes! I knew you would do it, I just knew the Dark Brotherhood would save me. Here’s everything I promised you.
Teledra: Eh, keep the heirloom. So, er, what are you going to do now?
Aventus: I guess I’ll go back to Honorhall after the clean up the mess.
Teledra: I see.
Aventus: Thank you so much again! The Dark Brotherhood is the best!
