It happens to be near one of the single most, concentrated areas in the world to view killer whales in the wild. . #johnstonestrait #killerwhales . . In my opinion, the best whale watching company in the area is not out of #telegraphcove, but rather approximately 20 minutes away in Port McNeill. They are family owned and operated #mackaywhalewatching . Bill and Donna Mackay are pioneers in the whale watching industry. If there are any whales in the area, then Captain Bill will definitely find them. . . . With this being said, I am REALLY looking forward to getting back out on the water soon. Each day is unpredictable, the air is crisp and fresh, and the excitement of hearing the orca’s blows is truly #magical . When I share this with my guy, my family and my friends, then it is #heavenonearth 😍 . Until this quarantine passes please take care and stay well. Beautiful capture by © ✅ @jordangatto During the summer months, fishermen bring in their daily catches to clean on the docks of Telegraph Cove. This captivates many tourists who watch from the splash free, and much less smelly historic boardwalk. Some locals however, like to get a little closer and more involved in the cleaning process. This young crow keeps a watchful eye out for an easy meal and does his part for cleaning up after the fishermen are done.
