For the kissing prompt - how about difference of temperature! One of them is sitting inside in front of the fire, drinking spiced wine and the other comes in from the cold. Or something. :)
Jaskier wraps the thick goose-down comforter closer around his shoulders and smiles. The mug of cider in his hand is warm, the blanket working part-time as a cape is warm, the fire is warm, and Jaskier is warm.
Thank goodness.
Geralt enters the room in a flurry of movement and windswept white hair. He rushes across the small place to press his cherry-red nose against the skin behind Jaskier’s ear and grins when the younger man squeals. “Fuck, Geralt, that’s really cold!”
“It’s winter.”
“I noticed.”
“And yet you stay inside to read books and build little nests?”
“I am not a creature of great adventure when the months are cold, my love. I prefer to stay indoors.”
Geralt presses his icy lips against his bard’s and feels himself thaw in more ways than one. Jaskier always has a way of melting even the most horrible, bitter, frigid parts of the Witcher’s heart. They are complimentary to one another in almost every way. Fire and ice. Summer and winter.
“Why are you smiling like that, darling?”
The Witcher surges forward and molds their lips together. His bard goes pliant and soft and doe-eyed beneath him, falling into the easy sense of happiness with the same ease that he falls into a light sleep. His breath catches teasingly softly when Geralt presses a few shorter, sweeter kisses to his lips.
The Witcher grins another kiss into his love’s skin: “I am smiling because I know that you complete me and because, despite all the things she forced me into, Destiny really made me the luckiest man in the universe when she bestowed my heart to you.”
“Kai, wake up. Please.”

Arcade Charade
Zane was holding Kai’s hand, guiding him through Ninjago City. “Zane, where are we going?” Kai asked.
“To a place to help you adjust to the cities,” Zane said. “I promise it will help.”
Kai was a bit nervous. It’s been a few days since he told Zane about the journeys with Eirwan, the master of ice. He and Kai would avoid big cities. Eirwan told Kai the cities were not great. Mostly due to the crimes, big crowds, and people being entitled.
“Here we are!” Zane announced.
Kai looked up. It was a strange building painted in neon colors. It had a sign that said: “Arcade.”
“Arcade?” Kai questioned.
“You’re going to love it,” Zane said. “It’s going to open a door of possibilities.”
The two entered the building, and Kai saw a bunch of video game machines.
“Zane.”
“Yes?”
“This has video games.”
“It also has prizes.”
“You brought me to a place of video games. Aka board games that have become technology.”
“Yes?”
“You brought me to a technological place when I have no idea how to work a computer?”
“… Yes.”
“I’m leaving.”
“Wait, Kai!”
Kai felt his arm being tugged by Zane.
“Zaaaaaane,” Kai whined.
“Come on, you have to try!” Zane said. “I know you don’t like video games that much, but this could be a learning experience! You know, getting out of your shell.”
Kai looked at Zane with a pouty face.
“Alright,” Zane sighed. “How about a deal? We go on a nature walk to wherever you want if you try out the arcade with me.”
“Mmmmmmm, fine,” Kai said. “You can’t back out though.”
“As long as you don’t back out of this.”
“Deal. So, what do we do here?”
Zane smiled. He led Kai to a stand in the arcade for cards. Zane explains they were arcade currency, and that is what they need to play the games. Kai questioned why these games need currency to play. Zane didn’t know how to answer.
“Hey, how about skee ball?” Zane suggested. “It’s pretty easy. You just throw the balls in the holes, and you get tickets.”
“Tickets?” Kai questioned. “Why do we need tickets?”
“To get prizes when we finish.”
“Then why do we have cards to play games if we need to get a different currency to get prizes?”
“That’s just how the arcade world works.”
Zane swiped his card on one lane, and Kai followed. The two played a few rounds of skee ball, getting a lot of tickets. Zane brought Kai over to a few other arcade games. One of them was floopy bird. The game frustrated Kai, and he wanted to freeze it.
Zane took Kai away from that and went to different games. They played some basketball, spin the wheel, shooters, and racing games. As they went through games, one machine caught Kai’s eyes.
“What’s this?” Kai asked.
“That is a claw machine,” Zane answered. “It holds prizes.”
“Do you need tickets for this?”
“Nope. Just luck, perseverance, and patience.”
“Oh. This one is really big.”
“Yeah, this arcade has a variety.”
“Can I try to get one for you?”
Zane blushed.
“Uh, sure,” Zane said. “I don’t mind.”
Kai swiped his card, and the claw machine started up. He didn’t know what to aim for. The claw ended up grabbing a giant squirrel. It fell into the box. Kai grabbed it out and handed it to Zane.
“I got you a squirrel,” Kai chuckled.
“I like it,” Zane said. “I think it’s best I also get you a giant plush.”
“A-Are you sure?”
“It’s only fair. Would be rude if I didn’t attempt to get you something.”
“O-Okay.”
Zane took a swing at the claw machine. He ended up getting a giant toy skunk.
“Well,” Zane popped. “I did not mean to get you a skunk.”
“It’s alright, Zane,” Kai smiled. “I like skunks. As long as they don’t spray.”
Zane let out a laugh. The two went out to the ticket counter to get prizes. Kai got a cup and a small owl plush. Zane got a nerf gun and a red panda plush.
“Well, what do you think?” Zane asked.
“The only things I liked there were the claw machine and the skee ball,” Kai answered.
“Harsh. But you seem to have enjoyed it.”
“I did.”
Kai gave Zane a kiss on the lips. It took both boys by surprise.
“I-I’m so sorry!” Kai apologized. “I-I don’t know what came over me. I didn’t mean to make it awkward-”
Zane interrupted Kai with a kiss on the lips. Kai kissed back, and the two did that for a while before pulling away.
“You know, I didn’t expect you to make the first move,” Zane said.
“Shush, you,” Kai grumbled.
“I love you, Kai.”
“I love you too.”
The two start to walk home.
“When are we going to tell the others we’re dating?” Zane asked.
“I say wait a couple of months or a year,” Kai suggested.
Temperature Change
Snuggle Bug
Zane carried Kai to the medic room. After a really rough day of fighting crime, the two are exhausted and hurting. “How’s your leg feeling?” Zane asked.
“It hurts really bad,” Kai answered. “The Mechanic did not hold back.”
“Don’t worry, we’ll get payback.”
Zane entered the medic room and put Kai on one of the beds.
“Pixal is busy, so we’ll have to just wrap and get pain killers for your leg,” Zane said.
“I hate painkillers,” Kai groaned.
Zane grabbed a first aid kit and worked his magic. Kai had his leg wrapped up in bandages and had taken painkillers. Zane took Kai to his room, and he was laid down on his bed. Zane was about to leave when he felt a hand tug on his arm.
“Cuddles?” Kai questioned.
“Kai, I have to go do something,” Zane said.
“But Zane.”
“I’ll be back soon. I promise.”
Kai pouted and held onto Zane’s arm.
“Kai.”
“Cuddles.”
“You know you can’t pull me in, right?”
“It’s been a long day of fighting, I just want to rest and cuddle you.”
Zane sighed.
“Why don’t I get some snacks? Then we can snuggle.”
Kai thought for a moment then nodded, letting go of Zane’s arm. He went to the kitchen to make a small bowl of crackers and cheese. After that, he went back to Kai’s room. The ice ninja was wrapped in blankets with his eyes closed.
“Snowflake?” Zane spoke softly. “Are you asleep?”
“No,” Kai yawned. “Just resting my eyes.”
Zane came over and sat on the bed. He put the bowl down and looked at Kai.
“How is your leg?” Zane asked.
“Feels like heck,” Kai answered.
“Kai. I love you, but please just say hell.”
“I’m not going to say bad words, and you can’t make me.”
Zane sighed and laid down. Kai immediately dug himself into Zane’s arms. Zane chuckled and hugged his boyfriend. The two snuggled up and ate their snacks.
“Don’t eat too much cheese,” Zane said. “I don’t want you to get a stomach ache later.”
“I won’t,” Kai said, nomming on a cracker and cheese.
After a while, Kai fell asleep. He snored softly and snuggled Zane. He smiled and held Kai close, giving him a kiss on the forehead.
“Sweet dreams, Snowflake.”
