I fixed the podium of the Temple of Castor and Pollux. Interiors are still unfinished. In contrast the neighboring Temple of Caesar is about 90-ish percent complete. It’s only missing a few minor flourishes that you can expect to find in a temple during Roman times (mosaic floor, offerings, etc.).

Also shown is my initial rebuild of the Curia Julia. I had to change its scale because I recalled that it was as big as the highest floor of the Basilica Paulli.

Temple of Caesar, Arch of Augustus (Parthian Arch form), A redone Basilica Julia, and the Basilica Paulli (”Basilica Aemilia”), plus the city so far. A wall, as you would notice, stands in for the Gemonian stairs (may not keep it if it’s a touch too anachronistic for 14 A.D.).

I had to rebuild the Curia Julia as it seemed rather anachronistic as it stands. Besides the rebuild, I am down to three or four more buildings to complete the Forum: the Mamertime Prison, the Temple of Vesta, the Regia, and the House of the Vestals. The Regia and the Vestal House will be the first homes to be built in Latium.

Now that I’ve mentioned that, I will need to mention that I do not intend at this juncture to build a Colosseum, as the IRL building was built after Augustus’ reign. I may reconsider if I’m making this a general “Rome-inspired” world for release.
