Here’s to ten years of Mass Effect
Everybody be sure to take time out of your day today to remember and appreciate the very best part of Mass Effect
"There is no Shepard without Vakarian." Just a quick drawing of the ol' OTP for N7 Day!
"It's so much easier to see the world in black and white. Gray? I don't know what to do with gray." [White charcoal on black paper]
Here's my contribution for #teN7 Day (which I started last N7 Day)! My favourite character ever, Garrus Vakarian, from my favourite thing ever, Mass Effect.
Okay so the whole Tapestry art stuff is amazing but this is NOT OKAY WHY DO YOU HURT ME.
A little late, but...
Thank you Mass Effect, for Ryder.
Don’t get me wrong. Shepard is awesome, a total badass, and a model of determination and strength in the darkest times.
But I honestly felt so much more connection with Ryder than I ever did with Shepard. Shepard is a highly trained soldier and ready for their challenges. Ryder, on the other hand, is pretty much the opposite. Ryder was almost totally unprepared for their role, and had a lot of high expectations placed on them suddenly. And having them overcome all those obstacles and succeed despite endless doubt really hit home for me.
So thank you, Mass Effect, for showing me that no matter how unprepared I feel, no matter how much I feel like I’m not good enough, I can still succeed and overcome the challenges in my life.
@thankyoumasseffect
After Commander Jane Shepard died over Alchera, Ashley Williams was approached to give a speech at Shepard's very public, very uncomfortable funeral. She nearly does too well.
Happy N7 Day! This is my first in the fandom, and even though this piece wasn’t what I wanted to post for this great holiday, it was the only thing I had finished.
Enjoy!
Happy #teN7Day! It’s been an amazing and memorable 10 years of Mass Effect!
