Monster Hunter World Adventures - High Rank Triple Dragon Edition
I spent a whole day playing Monster Hunter World and here' s the run down of things. I hunted Tempered Jyuratodus multiple times so that's fun. He wasn't that hard honestly, I don't get the hatred peeps have for him. I'd get more angry at Lavisioth more but Jyura is just a silly guy. I think he looks better tempered too.
After multiple hunts doing the side quests to unlock Chef's Ingredients and the other mantles. I basically grinded hard enough to unlock all of the high-rank elder dragon quests which took me the entire aftie. First in the roster is the Dragon that gave me the most WarFlashbacks in all of Monster Hunter is definitely Kushala Daora. I'll call em Kush for Short. Kush WHOOPED MY ASS when I was a wee lad playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Shadow in the Tempest was the quest and my estranged companion in the past struggled against him. I took on the challenge and my god, it wasn't the easiest fight. As a greatsword main of Freedom Unite The FUCKING WIND PRESSURE SUCKS ASS. How the BLOODY HELL ARE YOU GONNA FIGHT THAT THING?! Growing up I managed to aim for Kush's face for the most parts just to stop his wind aura. Now, I have a new friend that talked about stuff from World Kush and that is the fact that breaking the horn won't stop his wind aura. When I was about to fight him I was like, "Oh god, here we go again." I was thinking of how much the wind pressure is gonna fuck me up. I have seen the worst of Kush tho: His twin tornados of hell from Frontier would always put me on a thousand yard stare. When I fought him, oh god, he's a pain like usual. However, his wind pressure isn't that bad, his tornados are much more tolerable. It's the bloody flying; that's what gets me. From Freedom Unite to present day, the flying around you part of his fight is AGONY AND ANNOYING. I still would fight him over Azure Rathalos tho. Dart was right; Azure Rathalos is agony to fight as well cause he flies too much. I lowkey was thinking, "eh, he wasn't that bad in Freedom Unite or Frontier so maybe it's fine." No... no it's not fine.
After beating Kush after 30 MINUTES. I moved on Teo aka Teostra. I like Teostra more. In fact when I was replaying Freedom Unite; Teostra was a much more fun fight compared to most Elder Dragons. Frontier made it really fun especially the challenge against Supremacy Teostra. Keep in mind, Supremacy Teostra is known to be the GIANT WALL before transitioning to G-Rank for Frontier. Despite him giving us a fight for our lives; he makes it pretty fun and toe tappin. I was looking forward to fighting him but at the same time not really. I was aware of his supernova attack but I didn't comprehend how it could mess you up so much. It's basically the classic Frontier One-Shot where if you don't pay attention you dead. I really enjoyed the fight when I fought him. One thing's for sure the supernova... No joke. Lowkey underestimated it cause I was like, "eh, you can superman dive this anytime." No, you can't do that all the time, Raye. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE LOCKED IN ANIMATION. I also tried BLOCKING it so you can imagine what happened. I love the move where he sends a straight blast wave at your way.
Lastly, Vaal Hazak. I met him in youtube videos before and he's as enthralling as I first met him. Something about his design is so macabre, so metal, so abyssal in a way. The only thing I'm intimidated with was his effluvium skills. I don't really understand how it works properly so doing the fight really opened my eyes on how messed up he is. Thank god, I have nullberries for this fight cause it helped.
In conclusion, I had lots of fun. I severed all of their tails. I only remembered that I should use mega demondrug and armorskin and I only used them in the Vaal Hazak fight. Now, I'll have to fight the final boss of world soon and I'll be looking forward to Master Rank and of course, fight the monsters of Icebourne
