Wow this totally didn’t took almost 2 yrs to finish..

Anyways helloo I’m still alive woweee!!, this is like the revamp of the old Teovy MCD AU I made since the old one was problematic (It was Teony being a maid and Ivy being a higher status than her) When I posted it, I didn’t think much of it but people have informed me that portraying Teony like that is extremely harmful and I’m sorry about it again, I was completely ignorant about topics like these, so thank you for the people educating me about it. After that I did try to like remake it over the last year but I was struggling to come up with something.. leading it to be unfinished and forgotten about. I also just got really busy with school, and dealing with some personal issues, so I just stopped working for like a long time idk? But since school finally ended, I finally focused on finishing the revamp. It might not be the best lol, I’m not really confident at writing so apologies for that, but here it is!! its still unfinished but I feel like its enough already? I’ll just continue it when I’m motivated to write again and I think that’s all, really sorry that this took so long.

ocean waves.

Just the two of them, wrapped in each others’ arms, their legs intertwined on the wide bed, the distant sound of waves crashing coming in through their window. Ivy’s pink hued hair spread across the white pillow case, her eyes only slightly opened to take a look at her girlfriend, caressing her cheek as she stared deeper into her brown eyes, the only sound disturbing the peace between them was their hushed breaths, meeting each other due to how close they were next to one another. They didn’t feel rushed, as though the world revolved around them, and only them, slowing time down into nothing as they felt an unspoken bond between them.

“Guess it was a pretty good idea to come out here, huh?” Teony spoke, managing to keep the calm moment interlocked even as her words came out. Ivy never felt she loved anyone more than her. She never wanted to let go, and as she moved her hand from her cheek to a stray piece of hair by Teony’s ear, twirling it around her fingertips, she knew it from the bottom of her heart. Because Teony was the one to find it, and now she wondered how she lived so long without it. 

“Guess not.” Her voice was quieter, like the distant crashing of waves on a beach, the moon shining high above them, letting just enough light into their apartment. Maybe it wasn’t that Teony found her heart. Maybe it was Teony who was her heart all along. And Ivy found her.

’Your hair’s so pretty.’ She whispers, her hand slowly twirling the strand around her finger, idly staring at the explosion of bright pink. Her voice was hushed by the promise of sleep coming soon, and the stars above lighting up each contour of her face, and the tilt to her lips which only Ivy could see.

Maybe she knew these days would end soon. But when sitting down, an hour past 4 am, in an empty parking lot, her heart didn’t feel cold. Teony’s head on her lap, and her heart in her very own hands. Who knew one could salvage one out of her. 

‘Don’t fall for me so quickly.’ Her voice trembled with the air, feeling Teony’s own strands in her hands, her own heartbeat quickening with Teony’s laugh. It was strange, how a sound that used to annoy her so, could be so pretty coming from one person. She looked careless in that moment, as though she was drinking in the moment just as much. Seconds felt like years, as they sat there, on that hard concrete, but their eyes never stopped meeting. Their hands never separating.

‘Will be hard not to.’ And with that, she took her eyes off of her face, looking past it into the night sky, her smile only becoming more prevalent, and while in the minute, Ivy felt her own form as she stared at her girlfriend’s radiating expression. She saw how Teony’s eyes jumped from each star to the next, forming constellations in her mind, which no doubt would never become as awe-inducing as she looked right now.

‘Do you think that when we die we join them?’ The question caught her off guard, and she wondered what made it be brought up. She didn’t ask.

‘If we do, I bet you will outshine all of them.’
