I wanted to draw a recent scene from our DarkAges Chronicle where Emir woke up and couldn't remember Tertius, his husband, due to his derangement.

alright everyone, I need your help (EN mistranslation?)

so in today's chapter we meet a lot of new faces, could be friend or enemy (knowing Anya, they would be somewhat like Damian and friends lol). But I'm very much intrigued with this particular panel:

This new kid is mentioning Jeeves! That's the name of Desmond butler, right? I thought he has some connections with the Desmond but when I checked the original source (Japanese ver.) he didn't mentioned Jeeves, but something like "old man" or "jiiya" in Japanese. That's how Damian called Loid, ojiisan/old man.

When I checked another official translations, this kid seemed to mention his butler back in home. That's what confused me. Is this another mistranslation by English version or is there a hidden meaning in this "jiiya"?

HAPPY EARLY HALLOWEEN !!! 🤣 this chapter is hilarious and horrifying at the same time.

👻Starting with theories around the whole haunted school thing! (I'll go into the review after!!)🔎

First of all, I don't doubt there'll be supernatural stuff in this manga, considering Anya's a telepath (and Donovan is something like that too, even if it's probably different to her). Anything is possible.

There could be real ghosts..

Or they could even stumble upon a library with information that the current school doesn't have.. or they uncover some sort of lore that's foreshadowing for future chapters.

And Anya may even find a book on telepathy..

👀 or one of Sigmund's books, if he wrote books.

(It obviously wouldn't have sensitive information in a public library.. like that experiment or anything. I meant in a general sense, like just to have his name pop up as a sign of what's to come in future chapters.)

And a smaller theory:

When there's comedic haunted house scenes, there's the instant reaction to hide. So I think Damian might accidentally hug Anya in fear or AT LEAST hide behind her. 😂 heck, maybe all of them will do that.

I bet the plot twist is George is there and lost his shoe/or purposefully put it there or something hilarious like that 😂😂 To pull a prank on them. But we'll see.

Now my yapping review:

YESSS A CHAPTER WITH THE STUDENTS

I personally love the chapters that focuses around Anya and her time at Eden!

People do argue that these kinds of chapters are filler but I don't really care 😜 filler makes great world building!

Her being at school is such a crucial part in the mission, yes including the silly parts. It gives her reason to keep going back.

If she hated it there, that would mean the mission would fall apart. And a bunch of kids at school isn't gonna be serious stuff all the time. So get over it IDC 😉

The friendships she's forming are adorable and Damian's crush on Anya is hilarious and extremely entertaining.

Especially because all these kids' parents have connections in the storyline. (The obvious one being that.. Anya and Damian's fathers are gonna eventually try to k!ll eachother 😨)

But even the subtle ones! Like how Arnold Crowley's father is the one who was doing those spiritual readings that Melinda regularily goes to (and Yor attended the other day).

Also another example of Damian risking it all because of his crush on Anya

(cause if you think about it, he asked for a b0mb to be strapped to himself instead so her life would be spared before..— this is a lot milder but this boy will go to any level i swear 😂),

He goes into a haunted school for her and makes up a fake story about how it'll make him an Imperial Scholar, even if he's absolutely terrified and there's a risk of them getting in trouble. Bro he is so sick of Prince Tertius LOL

Not even I would do that. Jealousy or not 😂 I hate haunted houses/buildings, especially real ones. Becky is me. I am Becky.

(Also small detail but I appreciate how they didn't pressure her to go just because she didn't want to. Respecting "no" is very important!!! Cause I've been on the receiving end of that. Not fun.) These are good friends

And what really destroyed me the most is Anya being the opposite of scared. She looks like "the ghosts are peanuts.."

(Also on a serious note, the appearance of the school probably doesn't scare her because spooky old buildings is something she's familiar with. You know, all the orphanages and places she'd been in prior :c )

Now back to a lighter (spooky..) topic,

Also the "l-let's just follow her! to get out of the rain!" sure Damian.. sure... you're following after her because of the rain..

Like yeah the door shut on its own, which is already freaky enough. But THEY DIDN'T CHECK IF THE DOOR LOCKED BEHIND THEM?? AND DIDN'T BRING A FLASHLIGHT?? That would be my immediate first concern 😭😭 bring a bunch of flashlights in case the battery drains

The poor baby is overwhelmed with the amount of thoughts coming through,, oh no 😭😭 (me when I'm overstimulated).

Hopefully that was a one time thing cause I have a feeling they're gonna be running away once they hear noises

Also.. Connie is hilariously funny but I think she shouldn't be threatening the ghosts in a HAUNTED SCHOOL 😭😭😭

but I think the difference between them is Connie is geniunely scared but her fear led to anger and she's gonna fawking kill those ghosts (somehow.. even though that's kinda pointless..)

And in the meanwhile, Anya geniunely does not fear them whatsoever. She wants to put the ghost in a peanut jar and stare at it !!!!!!!! 🥜
