I've just discovered that one of the word walls in Skyrim obviously describes the Snow Elves' history.

U can find this wall in the Dead Crone Rock where the Protagonist gets the word Maar (Terror).

Here's the full text and its translation which can also be found in the game book Dragon Language: Myth no More:

The Autumn Field is the Rift I think. The Snow Elves definitely lived there.

It seems the Nords wanted to honor the memory of their enemies, as if they deeply sympathized with them.

What if some of the ancient Nords and Snow Elves coexisted peacefully even when Ysgramor and his Companions began their expansion? This theory warms my heart 💜
