Another version of the flight image, playing around with colours and patterns. Decided Griffins have more bird vision than cat vision cos... they got bird heads. Which means worse night vision, but UV VISION! So here’s an experiment with some patterns for Karen’s griffin form, making her considerably less grey.

Re: that color blindness thing that I just reblogged:

- is there a higher incidence of tetrachromia among people who already see more colors around because of synaesthesia?

- is there a higher or lower incidence of tetrachromia in cultures that naturally have more live of color vs ones that have less? Like, is India more colorful because it just is, or because people there see more colors more often?

- how much of color perception is actually in the eyeball and how much is in the wiring for the brain? If your senses are already alternately wired, are you more likely to see things that others generally don’t see or are you just more likely to notice that there are colors there?
