Watashi no Real wa Juujitsu Shisugiteiru: Side Project
So, I was supposed to be translating BWS Last Hope, but I was distracted with playing another otome game (it’s freeware, meaning you don’t have to pay; you just have to google) called “ Watashi no Real wa Juujitsu Shisugiteiru,” which translates to something like “My Real Life is Blossoming Too Well.” Anyway, in the process of playing it, I added to the previous translations and ended up translating most of Ayumu’s route through VNR. So, enjoy the subtitles if you choose to play the game. I recommend you do!
I have to say, at first, I thought the heroine in this game was somewhat irritating, but she quickly grew on me! And it helps that she’s very, very relatable, at least to me. By the end of Ayumu’s route, I have to say that she’s definitely one of the best heroines in otome games that I’ve ever come across. I have a lot of respect for her! Also, Ayumu is a cutie in the truest sense.
Well, I suppose he has his cool moments, too. *Don’t worry, this screencap isn’t really a spoiler.*
(I thought this was a slice of life kind of game??? What’s with this Code:Breaker turn of events?!)
Anyway, I’m thoroughly enjoying the game. It’s practically a parody of otome games! I will most likely translate Shun’s route in the near future, just as a small side project. As of now, I’ll be juggling between translating BWS and playing this game. Until next time!
Sakuya by TetraScope; visual novel sci-fi romance / love story R-18+ version -- Aaahhh all those various facets of feelingsss this ‘gem’ givess, uhh...
Never supposed such a simple, little visual novel can ‘push buttons’ and ‘pull at strings’ in all the ways it does... by far I’ve gone through 2 out of... 6 I think, endings... in paid version of the game. Even jp lang. was not such a barrier for me... in this case.
Release dates (Windows/VNR subtitles)
Japanese: January 18th, 2014
English VNR Subtitles: June 7th, 2015
"A.D. 2XXX.
As the mechanisation of lifestyles progressed, humans and robots coexisting with one another had become a normality in this period of Japan.
Sakuya, an android with a sense of self and emotions and almost completely human, was born thanks to the protagonist Kujou Akane's now-deceased father's research. She had lived with Sakuya for ten years, and never doubted that their bond was anything other than familial.
However, one day...Akane receives a business offer relating to Sakuya from her childhood friend who she hadn't seen in a while, Uemura Shin. From that day onwards, changes in her relationship between herself and Sakuya begin to become apparent...
Human and robot.
A short love romance story in which emotions and memories intersect."
A full translation for the free, all-ages version of Sakuya has been released for Visual Novel Reader by Sakusora Project! You can get full instructions on how to play the game here. It's only available for Windows.
So I finally went and finished this game and I am very satisfied with this game! I loved every minute of it ☆*・゜゚・*\(^O^)/*・゜゚・*☆ This game was so good I dreaded going to sleep every night to play it.
Beware spoilers ahead!
All along I thought Mizuho was datable but he's actually not. But he's not my fav anyway so I wasn't too sad. Sorry Nozomi.
I first went for Hozumi (unknowingly). I didn't use the guide and just chose whatever and somehow landed on his route. Of course Hozumi is an insta-fav because tsundere! V(=^・ω・^=)v Unlike Shun and Ayumu's, his does not go into Nozomi's past, but it does go into the twins' childhood. His route is also the shortest. In the beginning, Hozumi tries to act as a wingman to help Nozomi get with Mizuho. But things don't go as planned because Mizuho doesn't have the same feelings for her, and he likes Shizune. When Hozumi asked Nozomi why she likes Mizuho, she couldn't come up with anything besides "he's hot and is a nice guy." The way I see it, she never really had romantic feelings for him, probably just more like a crush, or admiration for him. And along the way, Hozumi and Nozomi end up falling for each other. I love how their confession turns out. They're already bickering like some old couple lol. Their interactions throughout the game arethe most hilarious.
Nozomi: "My butt got hurt......"
Hozumi: "Should I stroke it for you?"
Nozomi: "Bruh you better give me 30,000 yen first"
I also loved it when they go back and forth name-calling each other.
----------------
Next I did Shun which I probably should have done last just to be chronological order. But it's not like it matters that much. He's the main guy, so I guess that's why he had more endings, in which one she doesn't even end up with him. He also had the most CGs and the hottest CGs while the other two just had one kiss CG. (´;ω;`) Ayumu's was just a kiss on the cheek because he's a shy baby.
In his route, we see the reason why Nozomi changed her outside appearance. One day she got sick of being called a gross otaku so she just became a hikikomori in her last year of middle school. One day Shun offered to cut her hair for her so at least she can stop looking drabby. Then he helped her look pretty and learn how to people until she enters high school. Somewhere along the way he fell for her. There's also a huge surprise in his route! Nozomi actually has a blood-related little bro, and that is Yu. I totally didn't see that coming lol. Then I realized their appearance is similar too, can't believe I never noticed in the first place lol. When I got to know more about Yu, I was like, "lol oh god not another yandere siscon." Shun's normal route is where Nozomi ends up with Yu, not knowing of their relationship. ಠ_ಠ
Even though Shun and Nozomi aren't blood-related, their relationship still gives me a weird feeling because they are still siblings. Lmao they better enjoy their time together until their parents come home. I can't imagine their parents will handle this well. They'll probably end up eloping or something.
----------------
Last one I did was Ayumu. My baby (´;ω;`) I didn't look at the guide closely so I ended up doing his normal route first. I was so sad when it ended right there. That choice was tricky tbh. The normal route is really good too though. Nozomi treats Ayumu is different in there, which was interesting to see. His happy end was even better though! He got a makeover done by Shun, actually just a haircut though.
I never thought I'd be doing a 3D guy's route.
I didn't think much of him when I first saw him but he really grew on to me. I have a weakness for shy awkward characters too. He's Nozomi's first friend from her 7th grade aka osana najimi. Unfortunately, they lost contact after Nozomi switched schools. They reunite in high school but Nozomi ignores him because he's an otaku and she doesn't want to be associated with her dark past. She does this for the sake of her school personality but deep inside, she feels bad for ignoring him.
There was so much meta in his route lol.
Isn't this the "Heroine gets caught by bad guys event" that happens a lot in otome games?
Lmao fuh real this happens all the time.
Nozomi: "Er, uhh... umm... my mom, dad, little brother, grandpa, grandma, and cousin are over there!"
Not meta but this was fucking hilarious. lol wtf Nozomi
If this was an otome game, the character I'm going for should come and rescue me!
This is embarrassing, what is this an otome game?
yah gurl you playing a real life otome game
I think Ayumu is best guy for Nozomi because he was the first person she opened up to about her hobbies. He also understands her the best because they were in the same situation so they can relate better. I don't understand why he wasn't the main guy.
Omg and Ayumu's second extra story was the best lol! Nozomi's bff Miho is also a closet otaku, and a fujoshi of all things. Poor Nozomi got traumatized seeing a BL doujin of her beloved Vault-sama(?) and some other character. She couldn't accept him being homo because she ships him with the heroine (herself).
----------------
Besides the lovable guys, Nozomi herself is an awesome heroine! She can be hilarious, and I love heroines that can make me laugh. Most of all, I find it fun to be able to relate to her in some ways.
I expected this to be some typical sol game but the story and writing really blew my mind. Everything was really well done, and there was only two people working on this!! Meanwhile, commercial games have many people working on them but they're still crap sometimes. Seriously, this game is way better quality than some of the paid ones out there.
So, if you haven't played this yet and have the time, I highly recommend this! (`・ω・´)”
I'm officially in love with Tetrascope games now!!! (♥ω♥ ) ~♪
(Look at dem CUTIES!!! UNF.)
I tried the free trial of their second R-18 game Sakuya, which is only R-15 by the way, and WOW. I LOVE IT. ♥(ノ´∀`) I even bought the game... xDD And I really like the R-18 stuff more than I should. LOLOLOL Can't resist virgin dorks at "work". Fufu. (/∇\*)。o○♡ I'm totally gonna carve into every game they make, because THEY ARE AWESOME.
Sakuya tells you a love story about a human girl and a male android in the year 2xxx, where androids live alongside with humans. You can only fall in love with one character, Sakuya (the android), and a side character as it seems, though I'm not sure if I'm not heading towards a bad end with the side chara after all. ^^
The story is written nicely and funnily and as I heard some of the endings will make me cry because it's bittersweet. BRING IT ON. MAKE ME CRY!! Ugh! My do-M-ness is showing..... (((( ;°Д°)))) There are loads of CG's, 41 to be precise and they look really nice for a R-18 game. I mean some of them really look HOT. *drools* All in all there are 6 endings and I just got 2 so far. The good end and another one. I'm kind of scared of the bad end... Hahaha. How bad will it be. It's a R-18, so I'm speculating on rape. ;w;
Anyways... For those who want to buy the game and support Tetrascope like I did... You can buy it here: *click* I KNOW YOU WANT IT, YOU PERVS!!! And I'll probably write a short review about it, because I really liked it. I kind of want to write a review for their newest FREE game Watashi no Real ha Jijitsu sugiteiru, but I'm kind of tied down by my own game project.... /cries
My only regret... The games are not voiced yet...
DAMN. LITERALLY MY REACTION WHILE PLAYING OTOME GAMES.
The only thing missing is a little brother standing in Nozomi's room to sneer at her bizarre reaction. Oh wait. Well at least the brother is not half as annoying as mine *grunt*
