Although you may know a Teucrium canadense when you see one they get slapped in by angry botanists everywhere with misidentified Stachys spp. Or, rather, if a botanist can’t ID a Stachys spp. they come to the strange conclusion that it must be this species of bent lamia veticillaster. Woundworts will be the death of us all. This however, is easy to get to know when you see it’s flowers and is unmistakable once you understand that there is only one form of American Germander and non have the hood of the woundworts.
