It may be childish but I’m done texting first. I always text first. I always say good morning. I always say good night. I always ask how their day was. I always ask questions to keep the conversation going. And all I ever get is a “how about you?” reply.
Just once I want one of those texts sent to me. Text me first so I know you were thinking of me. So I know I’m important to you. That you’re not just texting me because I texted you. I know you’re holding your phone right now. Why cant you just text me?
It’s such a shitty feeling to always have to be the one to initiate first contact. I feel like I’m annoying them by always texting first.
me when i have to text first
it's interesting that somehow nobody texts me first
does nobody like me enough to text me first?
I fucking love all the polls on here it’s so fun, I love seeing what people have to say and it’s like you’re interacting with people without actually having to initiate conversations
I don’t care about who texts first, double texting, making the person wait before you answer, leaving people on read or any other of these “bad texting habits”
If we’re friends, who cares?!
BUT when the other person I’m texting is doing these things on purpose to make it look like I’m desperate for their attention or that they are somehow above me IT MAKES ME LIVID AND NOT WANT TO TEXT THEM EVER AGAIN
“Sometimes you need to realize your self-worth and stop texting the person first every damn time”, I say to myself as I text first.
