It may be childish but I’m done texting first. I always text first. I always say good morning. I always say good night. I always ask how their day was. I always ask questions to keep the conversation going. And all I ever get is a “how about you?” reply.

Just once I want one of those texts sent to me. Text me first so I know you were thinking of me. So I know I’m important to you. That you’re not just texting me because I texted you. I know you’re holding your phone right now. Why cant you just text me?

It’s such a shitty feeling to always have to be the one to initiate first contact. I feel like I’m annoying them by always texting first.

This thought/scenario has been running around my head for maybe a week now and I wish it would settle down. Maybe if I get it out it will.

Am I the only one who would free weird not asking the brothers permission before summoning them? Like I wouldn't feel right doing it unless I sent them a quick text saying "hey you busy?" I know they probably wouldn't mind it (sometimes), but the pact literally puts them under your complete control and, unless it's to keep the peace like when they were in the ghost's restaurant or an emergency where MC was in trouble, I'd feel wrong doing it without asking consent first. Consent in anything is very important to me and idk, I just keep thinking of some situation where some jackass human or whatever sees them behind MC and is like "you literally control the seven lords of hell, why don't you put them to use for yourself?" My MC would be shocked and confused how someone could think of them that way, like their not tools to do their bidding their people, they're their family. I think even in the game, maybe in an event from a while back, Mammon wanted to be viewed as an equal? Maybe it was fanon... But I wonder how the brothers would react if they heard MC say that...

I do play Obey Me still, but other stuff has my attention, I’m not really doing the events as much because of cash grab, and plus, I’m playing Hades.

But I do see your point, I would probably do the same thing. It’s like sending a text to ask if it’s okay to call someone before you call someone rather than cold calling them. It’s a progressive consideration of other people’s lives to be like, “Hey can you talk?” “Yeah, just give me a minute.” Instead of being all, “Oh good you’re not busy.” When in reality; “Actually Cassidy... I am busy.”

And it just takes it to the next level when it comes to literally summoning the boys to the human world. I feel like they would be all, “Oh I’ll drop everything to be summoned by you, for anything and I mean anything at all.” But they would all secretly appreciate being asked if they were busy first because their lives are just as important as your own.

Lucifer: *literally doing paperwork when he gets the text* “Sadly i can’t get away from my desk, tell you what, I’ll send you a message when I have free time.”

Mammon: *checking his credit score with NOT Credit Karma, pissed that it went down again.* “It’s about time you dropped me a message, what’s up?”

Levi: *Gaming and listening to podcast at the same time, sees phone light up, sends an automatic message, “I’m driving I’ll text you back later.” Before he realizes that it’s from you... Cue Serpential Panic*

Satan: *About to curse Lucifer with self-tickling shoes when he gets the text* “A cat cafe? Give me a few minutes and I’ll be ready to go.”

Asmo: *In the middle of his 3rd bath for the day and gets the text read by his own Crowe* “Text, ‘Oh I’m glad you didn’t summon me now, I’m in the middle of a bath, but I’ll let you know when I’m ready to be summoned~.”

Beel: *Making a classic Scooby-Doo Stacked Sandwich, gets a text* “Hold on, I’ll make another sandwich for you before you summon me, we can eat together.”

Belphie: *asleep but somehow still sends, “zzzz... i’ll brb...”*

Now as far as equals go, Mammon, Satan, Beel, and Belphie would love to be equals. Lucifer’s Pride wouldn’t allow anyone to be his equal. Levi is a toss up, it would all depend, he would always be Player 1, if that makes sense. Asmo, you can be equals in anything but beauty.

I don’t care about who texts first, double texting, making the person wait before you answer, leaving people on read or any other of these “bad texting habits”

If we’re friends, who cares?!

BUT when the other person I’m texting is doing these things on purpose to make it look like I’m desperate for their attention or that they are somehow above me IT MAKES ME LIVID AND NOT WANT TO TEXT THEM EVER AGAIN
