#texting issues

My parents do not understand texting inflections.

No No. No? No!? No... Noooooo ~No~ NO nOooOo All mean “no”, and yet all are different. I usually attribute “No.” as a short, curt answer that denotes tension or suppressed anger, or even just outright anger. 

Then they get mad at me for being defensive when I get home because I’m expecting to get yelled at? Like? ????? Really? You put a period there mom! PUNCTUATION IS KEY! YOU MAD OR NOT? YOU MAD NOW! WHAT EVEN.

Okay so the iPod I've been using to text people bas finally died (I think unless by some magic I can fix it) so unless one of my friends would like to loan me an old iPod they don't use, I'll be going pretty radio silent unless you text me at my actual number.

Why is it so difficult to text someone, i wasnt like that some time ago. i think of what ill say, write it four or five times and read it over and over but dont send it because.... what if they didnt meant what i thought they did? what if they get mad at me? what if my answer was too long or too short or didnt have anything to do with they was talking about? dont even get me started with talking first. i just dont. i dont text ppl i know irl first, thats it. so we can go days without exchanging a word, and if they dont insist on the chat i just stop

I really hate it when you text someone on Kik or something that tells you how far they've read and you see that they've read your message but they don't reply and yes I do it too

So today I stole my friends phone and messaged her friend. The only thing I thought of in those few seconds of time I had before she'd grab it of me was 'hello' mid way through their conversation. I pressed done before I pressed 'o' and her friend got a strange message saying 'hell'. Why do I do these things???
