before the instructions on how to vote (it's very easy), i thought it would be fair to tell you a bit about her so you can actually root for her <3
her name is elena matatéyou, in the contest goes by her stage name which is just téyou
she's half-spanish half-cameroonian, she was born in the usa and moved to santander (spain) when she was 3. here's a pic of santander because it's gorgeous (viva cantabria) :)
she's the only POC this edition (the most exotic it gets is another contestant that's half irish) AND the only lesbian !!! her girlfriend is another spanish indie artist called yoly saa, eurovision fans might know her cause she participated in the benidorm fest a few years ago
she is the only contestant this year that's over 25 years old (she's 28) which is just crazy
she has had such a brilliant contest!!!! here you can find all studio versions of the songs she's sung so far, i really recommend all (they're all covers so you can choose which one to listen to <3) out of all the available performances (prime video gatekeeps them until a number of weeks pass and then uploads them on youtube) my favourite is this one:
