Staying up way past midnight these past couple of days has been taking a toll on you, both mentally and physically. Work has been absurdly busy lately. Yesterday you had to fill out multiple orders for product shipments, then today you had to work on "the next big hit product". One guaranteed to get consumers scrambling for it at shopping malls everywhere. It was a mistake, the "Dream Product" that you had to get done by tomorrow started off as a simple self-made invention that brought you happiness. Apparently, the company that you work for gives its workers little to no privacy and "loved" what you designed and wanted to mass produce it. It was a small generator that made electrical energy from a non-mechanical power source. The first ever renewable energy source-based generator that had no negative qualities or setbacks.
The thought of your beloved little invention being mass-produced made your blood boil. Suing them at first chance was a great idea a few weeks ago when they announced your invention as an upcoming project to the board. When explaining everything that happened to your lawyer; the look in his eyes was filled with regret. He was a long-time friend and he knew you from when you were a toddler. The look he gave you was enough for you to know that he's been bought off. But, at least for now, you've been given a raise and a higher position at work. But, that still meant nothing to your superiors. The looks they give you when you walk down the halls give you the shivers. In all your years you've never felt a fear like this before. Ever since starting there, you've been hearing strange rumors. A cubicle mate of yours would always look at you with pity. His words ring in your head even now, at home alone...in the dark.
"The company needs you for now. And if you do a good job, hopefully, they'll keep you."
It sounded like it was supposed to be words of encouragement, but they sounded too sinister. Your coworker; a few days after saying that quit. His normally neat and tidy desk was cleaned out save for a small box of matches resting by his computer monitor. Normally he would have called you by now. But it's been nothing but radio silence for the past week and a half. Leaning back with a heavy sigh you rub tiredly at your face, a lazy attempt to drive the sleepiness away. It's only a few days and the paranoia was taking its hold on you.
Lately, you've been seeing the same box of matches almost everywhere you went. On an empty seat on the bus ride home, On the outside of the window seal by your favorite spot in the library. And yesterday night...right outside your door. This box was different from the rest. Its label could still be faintly seen, it looked like a heart. It was just laying there innocently on the doormat. The words "WELCOME' in big bold letters have long since faded due to a mix of being in the sun for so long and repeated trips to and from the house.
Paranoia kept you from leaving the safe confines of your small cozy house. It's normally a safe neighborhood, located not too far from the downtown area and not too far away to be secluded. The neighborhood was a safe one, many families made their homes in your location. Still the feeling of being watched or followed at times made your stomach twist in tight painful knots.
The more you thought about your 'missing' coworker the more your mind strayed to the small box of matches. The cover was worn and faded, and there are small traces of a once bright label that decorated the box. The faint outline of a heart, with smudged words, is all that's left of the label. Working in the dark wasn't a common thing that you did. But, working by candlelight just made you feel so cozy. Using one match after another, candle after candle, day after day finally came at a cost. This was your last candle and you already used up the last match.
Getting up from your chair to ease your aching joints felt like the best thing to do at this point. With a sigh and a yawn, you made your way to the door and flicked the light switch. Nothing happened. You could feel your eyebrows crease. With pursed lips, you flicked the switch again. And still nothing. The room remained dark.
"How in the hell did the power go out?" You whisper to yourself. Your voice echoed across the room, sounding louder than it really did.
Grimacing you reach for the candle on your work desk and head out into the dark hallway to check the other rooms. For some reason, you felt compelled to walk as quietly as possible. The air felt cold against your skin, Only wearing a t-shirt and pajama shorts really wasn't the best idea at the time but it was all that you had ready at the moment. The soft tapping of your bare feet hitting the hardwood floor was the only other sound besides your stifled breathing. Making your way to the hallway light switch you flick it on.
Off.
On.
Off.
On...
Your hair stood on end. The flickering flame of the candle betrayed your frightened features to the dark. Off to the corner, the sound of faint shuffling broke your panicked train of thought. Without thinking; you turned and ran full force into something hard. The fall against the floor felt like nothing compared to the heart-stopping horror that you feel now.
The candle that you once held extinguished in the fall leaving you and your uninvited guest engulfed in the darkness. only panicked whimpers and half words left your mouth. You couldn't move, you couldn't breathe, and all you could do was stare into the darkness in front of you. Turning over to get to your hand and knees you scrambled your best to get to your feet. Large gloved hands roughly pushed your head against the ground. Adrenaline rushed through your system, fight, flight, or freeze; you couldn't do anything, it was too late. From the corner of your eyes, you could see a small flame coming from between your assailant's hands. You didn't even hear them strike the match. Your heart was pounding so loud it felt like the whole neighborhood could hear it. The light that the match produced was just bright enough to see this person's face. You could feel your breath getting caught in your throat.
'Oh God!'
'Oh God! Jesus Christ!' You felt like you were choking.
'What the fuck?!'
A white mask peered from behind the flame. His head cocked to the side as if in a questioning manner. Tears gathered in your eyes, struggling to get up, struggling to even get a breath, your mouth formed words. You couldn't hear yourself, but you could tell that you were sobbing. Almost in a gentle manner, the masked man removed the hand that firmly held you down in place and brought it up to gently caress your cheek. Empty eye sockets bore down into your tear-filled eyes. It was too much, it hurt too much to think, it hurt too much to feel, and the adrenaline rush that you felt at first now left you tired. You could feel a sort of haze at the end of your vision. The world felt like it was spinning, and you knew no more.

Fanfic idea i need to get out.
TF2 TFC
So there is that one idea going around that medictf2 is actually medictfc. There is at least one post about that xd. I love that. On tfc golden days doc was the youngest man (25-35). Taken in to the group and adjusting well but the cheavy isnt that impressed.
Battlefield is not place for nurses!
Other teammates like the redhead scout says otherwise and wants to give the man a change. In time Cheavy kinda warms up to the giddy young german man. Bit too much even... Young dum flesh who has the need to show he is needed?
So yeah it gets groomy and mean. In the end kind of a relationship going on. Abused and used doc don’t really first get it.
Something happens. Doc gets badly hurt by the larger merc and others cant ignore it anymore.
Medic leaves. Finds a new job as a medic in our dear loved team after years working as some back alley madman. Finds comfort in the kinda similiar heavy.....but don’t know how to build this relationship in anyway. Doc goes with only way he knows how he was “loved” before. Forcing himself onto heavy. He does not like this. Drama. Learn about the docs past with like a drunken breakdown “why u don’t love me D:”
Cry it out
Cuddle it up
Slow healing
problem with this all is i don’t know how to fking write a thing. Maybe ill try?
|Not into you| Scout x reader Part 2 (Final)
Trying to be nicer to Scout you decided to hang out more with him. Now the two of you have a friendship with each other. At least that’s what you want to think. Scout shot at the soda can and fist pumped the air upon hitting it. “Oh yeah! Did ya see dat Y/N?” Scout was then hit in the face with the can that he shot. You laughed at him and ran towards the fallen man. Lifting him up Jeremy smiled at you with a dorky smile. “Thanks, I handled dat hit like a champ!” Upon seeing his smile a warm feeling went to your cheeks. You let go of his hand and fake coughed into your fist. “Yeah, I guessed.” Grimacing at the warm feeling on your cheeks and the heat rising into your chest. You weren’t into him or anything. You just admired him for not being a dumbass sometimes. The feeling will go away anyways. “Gonna go on payload tomorrow on Upwards! excited?” Scout asked grinning with a cheerful look. Smiling back at him you shrugged. “You shouldn’t be so excited about war dummy.” Scout laughed and grabbed his baseball before turning to enter the base. “Cmon, ya don’t like beating dem BLU scumbags?” You rolled your eyes playfully at him. “No comment beantown.” He started pacing around you like some type of hyper shark. “Beantown? Dat’s a new one. The inspiration?” The bostan man held a sunny look on his face while circling around you. “Cause you’re skinny like a string bean.” You responded poking him on the side of his body. He jumped up upon contact and chuckled slightly. “Dat ain’t dat bad.” “Also you’re unmanly.” You added in with a jesting tone in your voice. Scout scoffed and grabbed you before giving you a noogie. “Take dat back!” Laughing in his hold you tried grabbing his arm. “Never beantown!” After a few more seconds of struggling and laughter between you two he let go. “I can’t believe ya think i’m unmanly. Look at deez guns!” Scout started flexing his muscles and you stifled a giggle. Unfortunately for you Jeremy heard you. “Ima mess up your hair again.” He threatened with a playful smirk. Shaking your head at him you started to retie your matted hair. Gazing up at him for a few seconds you sighed. The same feverish temperature rising in your chest again. “Fuck I hate this.” You muttered out loud. Scout turned his head to you and put a hand on your back. “Ya hate wut?” Giving him an awkward smile you shrugged. “I just got reminded of an embarrassing memory.” Heading into the lounge area the two of you decided to play cards. Demo and soldier were drinking beer like buddies, Pyro was playing with a match, and Engie was out of his workshop for once. The base has never been this serene until you decided to hang around Scout more. It didn’t take long for the mercenaries to realize what was the cause of it. But they only chalked it up to close friendship seeing as you always shut down Scouts attempts to flirt with you. Gathering the Uno cards together you started shuffling the deck. “Scout eet ‘as been more than an hour of ‘our usual ruckus. Congratulations.” Spy commented suddenly walking into the lounge. “Go ta hell spy, I can be quiet!” You rolled your eyes at Spy’s sentence and gave the frenchman a smirk. “Now look what ya did Spy. You’re making him yell again.” Laughing sarcastically at your sentence Scout pouted as you gave him, his cards. “I can be quiet doe...” He muttered lowering his voice. Smiling you patted his head. “Yes you can. Good job.” Engie saw the scene and chuckled. “But it is kinda true son, you haven’t bothered any of us for a few days. Even Ah expected ya to bust inta the workshop.” Scout seemed to be thinking in his mind (for once). “Yeah i guess I have. Just been busy getting girls.” He said wrapping an arm around you. Pulling his arm off you pushed his face away. “In your dreams beantown.” “Ya are in my dreams.” Mission starts in 50 seconds . . . The administrator’s voice boomed out through the speakers. Soldier looked up at the speakers and gasped. “The Administrator is trapped in speakers! Merasmus! What have you done?!” Demo rolled his eyes- eye and dragged Soldier out of the spawn room of Upwards to set up. Engie had already placed his teleporter and ran out to the front lines. You and Scout ran towards the front lines ready to defend. Getting your ammo ready you stayed near the stairs of the slop on the right side of the area. “Dem chucklenuts better be ready to go down!” Scout eagerly yelled having his scatter gun in hand. “Worry about not dying though.” You responded with a smirk. Returning your playful smirk he ruffled your head. “Awh ya do care.” He said making you scoff and shoo his hand away. Mission begins in 3...2...1...FIGHT! The gates opened and all sounds of rockets, bullets, and yelling started pulsating throughout Upwards. The first point was given up too quickly due to an ubered Heavy. You quickly tried to retreat back to the spawn room to get more ammo however a rocket came flying towards you. Scout tackled you out the was and you both tumbled down the slope. You landing on top of his chest. “Saved yer life!” He yelled out with a cheeky smile. The familiar festering heat went throughout your body before you rolled off him. “Get back to work.” You muttered with a red face. Scout failed to notice it was a BLU Soldier came marching in. Letting Scout take care of the scout you grabbed a nearby ammo pack and helped him pump a bunch of lead into the Soldier’s stomach. After that you ran away from Scout to avoid the tingling feeling again. It was gonna distract you from the battle. Heading into the tunnel you decided to hide behind the thin metal between the wooden pillars. You got ready to assault the demoman and pyro pushing the cart when a jar of milk got thrown at them. “I milked them!” Scout yelled out with a dorky smile. You shook off the small trance you had and helped your team stop them. That was until you realized the BLU demoman put stickies near your hiding spot. “Ah fuck me-” There was a click before it went black. You spawned in however it was at the last point. That meant that the BLU team managed to get the second point. Running with your shotgun you got stopped by Scout. “Cmon beantown, time to stop them up those rails.” He tilted his head at you. “When did ya come up with dat?” He asked with a smile. You held a deadpan look before raising your shotgun and shooting the spy in the head. “Woah, he shifted into a dead guy!” The real Scout called out kicking the body. Nudging Scout away and back into the battle as you groaned. You really can’t get rid of him? “Just go back in there.” Victory! The whole team cheered in their victory while the few of them decided to run after the BLU team. You decided to head back to the base but Scout gripped your arm gently. “Ey Y/N, wanna hang out at a bar later?” He asked with a genuine smile. Why did you feel like you were gonna regret this? “Sure thing, never had a good drink in a while.” Muttering a bit at the end you bit the inside of your cheek. Damn it, you wanted to avoid him. But he’s just too cute. Scout cute? Nah. “Not that cute...” You mumbled to yourself making Scout hum in interest. “Nothin, just thinkin.” You replied with an embarrassed smile. Jeremy decided to sit in front of the bartender with you. “What do ya wanna drink? First rounds on me.” He spoke pointing to his chest proudly. Chuckling at his behavior, you decided on an easy drink so you wouldn’t get drunk. “Just get me a light beer.” Scout nodded and ordered two for both of you. Chatter between the two of you never ceasing to end. It was so serene for once despite the loud music and talking crowds. “Yknow Y/N, I like hangin out with ya. Why did ya avoid me at first?” He asked curious for an answer. Shrugging in response you took a swing of your drink. “You just got on my nerves. I kinda just avoided you but spending time with ya, you ain’t that bad.” You explained putting your bottle on the counter. If there was something brighter than the sun, it would be Jeremy’s smile. He seemed as happy as a clam when you said that. “I’m glad ya think that. I don’t really connect with many of the guys. Makes me a bit lonely...Oh shit why am I tellin ya this?” He suddenly realized that he was sharing a bit too much. You blinked at his words, you didn’t know he felt that way. With a laid back expression he took a sip of his drink. “Guess I just... like talkin to ya.” Jeremy stated resting his head into his hand. “Same here Beantown.” You said with a small smile. Your heart suddenly being sent into a motion. You felt a nudge with your hand, taking a glance you realized that Scout was trying to hold it. His expression having a red hue littered along his face. Holding his hand back you looked away starting to fluster as well. “Ya actually did it?” He asked with a euphoric tone. Covering your mouth with your other hand you stayed looking away. “Don’t get me wrong, Beantown. I’m not into you.” He just chuckled at your expression. “Then why are ya red?” You choked on air upon hearing him. Letting go of his hand you started waving both of your hands denying it. “I’m not blushing! It’s the drink! I’m drunk!” Scout ended up doubling over with laughter. “I-I’m gonna go back to the base! I’m just tired.” You spoke embarrassed and marching out of the bar. Jeremy quickly paid for the drinks and followed after you. The base was silent without Scout inside of it. All the Mercs were sitting in the lounge finally relaxing without the constant bickering and nagging of Scout. “Ah’m a be honest. This is tha most it’s been quiet.” Engie commented making the mercs hum or nod in response. “Da, it is nice.” The mercs then jumped at the sound of you rushing past all of them with a red face and Scout following you. “Cmon Y/N don’t deny it. Ya do like me.” A shoe was thrown at Scout making him fall back. “I’M NOT INTO YOU IDIOT!” You yelled out with a flustered look. Heading for your room. Jeremy held your shoe in his hands. “Ya want your shoe?” “...Yes.” The Mercs were entertained with the interaction of you and Scout. All of them either laughing their ass off or smiling amused. “Dunnae give up lad! You’re just a wopper mate.” (Wopper means embarassing in scottish slang)

Chapter 35 Preview:
The train rumbles as we round the edge of the mountain, the horn blaring as we go through a dark tunnel to cut inside the landform. Train car lights keep the car illuminated as the sun gets blocked out. I glance to my side, Sniper's head leaned against the frosty window, an aviator hat keeping his ears warm. Heavy sits across from us. He looks mad when he sleeps, his eyebrows furrowed and his mouth pressed into a frown. Sniper sits up and taps his hands lightly on the table.
"Second contract, Luv," he says. "From the hot beaches in Florida to the frigid tundra of Central Siberia in Russia. Cold?"
"Just a bit right now, but I know it's worse out there," I shiver, trying to shrink into my coat as much as possible. He smiles at me.
"Thanks for coming, Luv."
"Happy to be here." It's quiet for a few moments. "I'm sorry, you really don't look twenty-eight."
"Why does everyone bloody say that?" He sighs.
"Is true," Heavy whispers.
I sit up and adjust my coat collar. "I constantly have to remind myself that you're younger than me by four years, not older by seven."
"It can't be that bad can it, Freddie?" He complains.
"You look thirty-eight, minimum," I reinforce. "The lack of sunglasses highlights that. Moving on... Heavy."
"Да?"
"How much longer?"
"Hmm," he hesitates and takes a deep breath. He opens his eyes and glances out of the window. "An hour. Thirty minutes left on train and then it is thirty-minute hike through valley to get to village."...
Something’s Missing Chapter Seven
“I- um- it’s a long story and I’m not the best at explaining things.” Pyro suddenly felt very nervous. He didn’t want to say anything wrong or make Medic uncomfortable.
“I’m good at understanding confusing stories and we have time.”
“I uh- okay. Well I didn’t have very many friends everyone was scared of me or hated me.”
“Why? You seem to be very kind.”
“I wear the mask all the time except for when I’m alone or when I’m with you and people are scared of what they can’t see. At least that’s what you told me. Oh and I was in the happy place way too much which caused me to gruesomely murder the Blus over and over again with no remorse.” Pyro said that last part with a bit more enthusiasm then he probably should have. But then again Medic couldn’t judge. He’d said and done much worse before with a smile on his face.
“What’s the happy place?”
“I’m sorry I didn’t to tell you yet. When I look at fire for a long enough time I hallucinate this really pretty place and I kinda forget about everything else.”
“Interesting. And please don’t apologize to me. I should be apologizing to you. I’ve been … very… difficult.”
“No none of this is your fault it’s that stupid respawn. Technology is kinda dumb.”
“Ja.”
“Oh and speaking of technology Engi was kinda the reason we got together.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. For a while Engi was my best- my only friend. And you two liked doing experiments and stuff together. And then we started to get to know each other. Then things just sorta happened.”
“‘Things’ like my memory?”
“Yeah but, getting to that took a while.”
“Define 'a while’.”
“About three years.”
“Three years! I must have enjoyed spending time with you!”
“I thought you did.” There was a tone of sadness in Pyro’s voice.
Medic gently placed his hand one Pyro’s shoulder “Well judging from the one memory I have from before I did enjoy the time we spent together.”
A sad smile came across Pyro’s face, “Will it ever be the same?”
“I don’t know. I do know that you care about me and I do deeply care for you. I believe everything you are saying. I’m just- I haven’t felt this deeply before or at least I don’t remember feeling this. It scares me.”
“Well I was scared to let you see my face but, I did it because I love you and I trust you. And you waited so long for me to be ready to do that. So I’ll wait for you. What ever you decide to do I’ll support you no matter what. Because I’m just lucky to have you in my life.”
“No I’m the lucky one. Thank you for …well everything.”
Pyro beamed.
The moment was interrupted by a worried sounding voice from outside.
“I know it’s early but, I was worried about you fellas. Can I come in?” It was the Engineer.
Immediately Pyro shot up, placed his mask on his head, and walked to the door. Medic stayed where he was, trying his best to regain his composure. There was no stopping Pyro at this point without sounding ridiculous.
Engineer looked like hell. He wasn’t wearing his googles so his dark circles that were usually hidden by them looked even worse.
“Are you two alright? ”
Pyro nodded.
“Ja.” Medic desperately didn’t want to talk to the Engineer. He felt uncomfortable every time Engineer looked at him.
Pyro could tell that Medic was uneasy. He did his best to distract Engi and keep away from Medic.
Engi didn’t understand half of what Pyro was saying. He was too tired and was preoccupied with thoughts about the respawn. Until he noticed a tear in Pyro’s suit. There was blood on the edges of it and he saw some of Pyro’s exposed skin expertly stitched together. Across the room he saw a scalpel covered in blood. He looked at Pyro dead in the eyes and pointed at the wound. His voice was quiet nearly a whisper yet it was filled with rage. “What did he do to you?”
Note: I really do like cliff hangers way to much
Hallo again , sorry for not being active much , I did a little fix of some old art (the picture in the post) medic says hallo to you !
