Peter closed the gallery earlier that evening to get home and ready. For the first time he was about to take Freya to dinner, but that only meant exacty that: dinner. He enjoyed his time with the girl and she deserved a taste of the higher life so he’d give it to her. He was all about reciprocity: you get what you give. And the dinner wouldn’t cost him a thing, so... it wouldn’t be a bad investment.
If it wasn’t for the NYC traffic he’d get home and then to Freya in less than thirty minutes, but everythng seemed to be against him that day. When he finally got to her place he was a bit late. Nothing she wouldn’t forgive, he was sure.
