After posting earlier today about the THAAD Battery going to Israel, it’s surprising to me how many didn’t know about “Site 512” which is the only Permanent U.S. Military Installation in Israel. 

Site 512, which is operated by the 1st Space Brigade of the U.S. Army and sits atop Mount Har Qeren in Southern Israel, was opened in the Early 2000s by the Bush Administration as a Top Secret Radar Facility featuring less than 100 Soldiers; but since then the Base has received several Expansions, including one in 2017 and one 2023 which constructed enough Barracks Space to house roughly 1,000 Personnel.

 Currently around 300 American Service members are stationed at the Base, alongside a AN/TPY-2 Surveillance Transportable Radar and several Early-Warning Systems focused on Iran; in addition, there is believed to be a MIM-104 “Patriot” Surface-to-Air Missile Battery and at least some of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Battery located at the Site.

Biden-Harris administration escalates war drive against Iran

Recent weeks have seen the U.S. war machine substantially escalate its proxy war against Iran via “Israel” and other regional partners. On Sept. 27, the U.S.-backed Zionist regime assassinated Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, a key Iranian ally and leader in the Axis of Resistance.

In its latest move, the Biden regime deployed a THAAD missile system and 100 U.S. troops to occupied Palestine in support of the anticipated Zionist response to Iran’s Oct. 1 ballistic missile attack on the Zionist military infrastructure.

Nothing good can come of this. To begin with, the US now officially has "boots on the ground" in this conflict, which opens the door for the US sending more troops later.

Right now, the personnel being deployed are solely charged with operating THAAD, but their mere availability creates the potential for these and other troops to be redirected towards real or imagined operations by Hamas in Gaza. That could include launching airstrikes theoretically targeting members of Hamas, which have an ugly habit of creating civilian casualties. Basically we'd be directly participating in the ongoing genocide, with profound impacts for America's reputation abroad and civil unrest stateside.

Finally, sending our guys over there creates the potential for these troops to take fire from Hezbollah. If that happens, it creates a repeat of the "Gulf of Tonkin" situation sixty years ago which Trump, if elected in a month's time, would most certainly exploit to pursue an outright alliance with Israel, potentially drawing America into an all-out war against Hamas, Hezbollah, and even Iran itself. After all, Biden sent the troops over there… he'd just be "finishing the job", right?
