Update

I LIVE!

Of course, you knew that if you were keeping up with the story, but I might as well say it here, since I haven’t been a while. As for the update...

I had to make some major edits to Act II, since what I wrote then needed to be streamlined a bit, as it was a little confusing. I’ve already finished that, and now it’s just a task of splitting it into chapters and expanding the details. I’m almost finished with that as well, so don’t be surprised if the next chapter drops sometime next week. 

In other news, the contest is still ongoing (not that anyone seems to care, it’s more like a running joke at this point) and the TV Tropes page will need to be updated a lot in the coming weeks. There’s going to be a lot of bomb-dropping revelations in this arc, I’ll tell you that. 

Also, a quick reminder: I am not changing the pairings of this story. For anything. I’ve already drawn up a plan for the first five arcs, and those pairings are important. Of course, this isn’t an issue for Oliver/Laurel/Nyssa (since everyone seems to be satisfied on that front), but it is an issue for WestAllen, because many of you keep on pestering me to change it. I’m sorry, but no - it’s happening whether you like it or not. For what it’s worth, I plan on making it more tolerable, so you won’t completely hate it (hopefully).

Progress Update II: Arc IV

So, here's a second progress update for the story. Real life got in the way (as it always does), so I was delayed completing the general outline. Recently, however, I've had a burst of inspiration. 

I am now almost done with planning the final act of Arc IV. Once I'm done with it and done editing the entire outline, I will start outlining the individual chapters.

After giving it some thought, I think I will I plan out the chapters of an act first, then write them, and cycle through them that way. So don't worry, everyone - To Hell and Back will be returning to your screens soon enough!

In other news, the contest is still happening. I will reblog the guidelines so everyone can look at them.

Progress Update 3

The complete outline is finally finished! Now all that’s left are the chapter outlines, and then I will begin updating again!

Looking at all in fully, I think I can almost definitively say that Arc IV will be the longest arc in the story thus far. There’s a lot packed into this arc, with so much action that you’ll be left at the edges of your seat. And to think I still have Arc V on the charts...
